I'm a 29 inch inseam, so grateful for pants that actually fit. I've never liked sloppiness around the ankles or the rolled-up look. Color? The slightly yellowish tan color is pretty neutral. All-cotton fabric is lighter than with denim jeans, good for muggy summer weather. The fit is a bit tighter at the belt line than for similar denim jeans. Versatile for everyday wear, from Hawaiian shirts to thrift-shop sport coats (I live in a town with affluent donors, so what was a $200 jacket might go for $8. Why not?)My pair was made in Bangladesh.

I have bought 514 jeans for several years and have 3 rather faded black pairs. I purchased a pair of 514s online about 3 months ago and they went baggy and loose on me within a couple of hours of wear. I went into the Levis store and tried on others, thinking I had just scored an awkward pair. but discovered that I now fit a 28 inch rather than 29 inch waist, though the smaller fit is a little tighter in the lower leg than I would like. I don't understand why Levis has changed the fitting. My old pairs fit, but though the new jeans fit well in the store, the stretch material now makes them too baggy for my liking. I have lost confidence in buying any more 514 jeans.

These pants were way too small, I have several other pairs of 514s and these were simply not cut the same in the waist. Premium 514 Jeans with Cotton/Tencel blend with a bit of stretch. Really nice fabric. "Just Kidding Around" dark blue (almost navy) color is elegant, uniform (no whiskers or wear) and dressy even. The fit is great. I have a regular original colored jean that I love and they fit amazingly, that is the reason I decided to get two more in different colors. Here is where the issue came into play. I ordered the green pair and the shark grey pair (I can’t remember their exact names) and it just was not the color that is shown on the model. The green was a much brighter green and also had a black Levi logo on the back. The model’s has a khaki colored logo and the pant is a more dark green. Then the grey shark colored ones are a very light grey, much lighter than the models. Ultimately they still fit great and I will still wear the grey pair but I am not a huge fan of the green. I’ll keep the grey but will probably return the green and switch out for another regular ... MoreThe fit is great. Fits snug around hips with almost no gap and accommodates my full bum. Sleek along thighs but not tight, I'm able to easily have keys, phone, and wallet in my pockets and still be totally comfortable. Great fit from the knee down. Zero binding around my well endowed calves, which is a relief as even some legs that are supposed to be wider tend to hug them. It's a relief stretch is a common thing with mens jeans, and the stretch in this pair is just enough to allow a little extra movement with a more form fitting jean. What a relief 35" waist is available as well. The 36" was too big and made the jeans sloppy and 34" was too tight.The Bad: I wish these came with a button-fly option. Not all colors have the same cut.The Ugly: Nothing, but time will tell how well they hold up to regular wear.Overall, this is the happiest I've been with jeans from the start. I'm very impressed they're still holding their shape with minimal stretching after five days of wear. My wife is also very pleased how they fit and accentuate all her favorite parts, and are not sloppy or like they were painted on. I highly recommend these if you like jeans that sit low, fit athletic legs like a well tailored shirt with a bit of stretch, and are just shy of full break with your proper inseam measurement.
Great sale price on these jeans! Just wish they were button fly but the colour is gorgeous. I love the softness 2% elestane brings to these jeans. Comfortable to bend in and you can wear them immediately. Where cotton jeans need a long time to break in, these don't. My only gripe is they need to offer 28" or 29" inch inseam. I'm unfortunately short and tired of the high prices to have them hemmed. I have always wore Levi's jeans and always will. I purchase the men's jeans because they're just more comfortable and come in better colours.

What a pleasure to be in a pair of jeans that are so comfortable and form fitting, not baggy or falling off you cause they don’t fit your body properly.The stretch material in these jeans is amazing, it’s called Tencell lyocell .So far I’ve tried the 514’s and the 541’s and both have a great fit. I’m pleased enough to continue trying the the different styles. The only drawback of these stretch material jeans is you can tell they will not last as long as a pair made of straight denim. That’s okay with me though the trade off of having a form fitting Jean that is soo comfortable and looks good on you is worth it to me. The fit of 505s or 514s you bought 2 years ago is vastly different from a pair of 505s or 514s today. And the fit of the same size jeans can differ wildly from pair to pair. from the beginning of all of our times Levi Straus has been a fanvoirte all across the world. from the 501s and the 514s, and the dark wash and the light wash, each pair hold a memory near to us all. jeans have truly evolved into more than just blue denim and being called “cheap” i had a pair of green tinted pants a few years back and i outgrew them and i loved them a lot. this is one heck of an upgrade!! i shuffle through different styles of jeans from skinny’s to relaxed and etc…if it looks good i don’t see why i can’t wear it. the jeans are VERY comfortable and relaxed. had i been able to find my belt, you can see it’s really even better shaped.
