Premium 514 Jeans with Cotton/Tencel blend with a bit of stretch. Really nice fabric. "Just Kidding Around" dark blue (almost navy) color is elegant, uniform (no whiskers or wear) and dressy even. Soft brushed fabric with a lighter hand/feel than the traditional heavy denim. Although, I weighed this pair and another just purchased 514 with heavier feel denim in "Stonewash". These weighed only slightly less than the "Stonewash" pair. Premium fabric thus only slightly lighter in weight, but feels lighter. 514 fit with lower-rise waist works well on my older-guy body with a slight paunch. Great Jeans! What I am looking for is the 514 jean that I bought several years ago with a very lightweight denim that is perfect for summer. The fit is great. I have a regular original colored jean that I love and they fit amazingly, that is the reason I decided to get two more in different colors. Here is where the issue came into play. I ordered the green pair and the shark grey pair (I can’t remember their exact names) and it just was not the color that is shown on the model. The green was a much brighter green and also had a black Levi logo on the back. The model’s has a khaki colored logo and the pant is a more dark green. Then the grey shark colored ones are a very light grey, much lighter than the models. Ultimately they still fit great and I will still wear the grey pair but I am not a huge fan of the green. I’ll keep the grey but will probably return the green and switch out for another regular ... MoreThe fit is great. The fit is by far the best for my waist and legs so I’ll keep buying the 514s but I am very disappointed by the green pants I received. I am actually glad about the grey ones because I think I like the lighter grey.

Preferred wear location is at or just above the hips.Purchased: 35x34, currently at 5 days of wear.Colors: Cloud Grey Mist (medium grey), Midnight Worn (dark grey). Both colors have the same fit.I purchased these as it's one of a few jeans that "sits below waist" as I prefer a lower rise and wear just above the hips. This color was a perfect fit and with a week of wear and no washes it's still holding the shape well. I purchased every color available and only found two other 514 that fit like this. The remaining were significantly higher rise (ranging from .5" - 1")The Good: Sits at the hips and crotch ... MoreMe: 6'3", 230#, measures 38" with 35" inseam at full break. Fits snug around hips with almost no gap and accommodates my full bum. Sleek along thighs but not tight, I'm able to easily have keys, phone, and wallet in my pockets and still be totally comfortable. Great fit from the knee down. Zero binding around my well endowed calves, which is a relief as even some legs that are supposed to be wider tend to hug them. It's a relief stretch is a common thing with mens jeans, and the stretch in this pair is just enough to allow a little extra movement with a more form fitting jean. What a relief 35" waist is available as well. The 36" was too big and made the jeans sloppy and 34" was too tight. The Bad: I wish these came with a button-fly option. Not all colors have the same cut.The Ugly: Nothing, but time will tell how well they hold up to regular wear.Overall, this is the happiest I've been with jeans from the start. I'm very impressed they're still holding their shape with minimal stretching after five days of wear. My wife is also very pleased how they fit and accentuate all her favorite parts, and are not sloppy or like they were painted on. I highly recommend these if you like jeans that sit low, fit athletic legs like a well tailored shirt with a bit of stretch, and are just shy of full break with your proper inseam measurement.

I love these Levis 514 jeans. In addition to a great fit, they are comfortable and look great. Levis always delivers a quality product - they are dependable to give a high quality pair of jeans. The denim used is a great quality and is very tough and durable yet still feels good next to the skin. I love that it hasn't been partially destroyed to satisfy some weird fashion trend. If these babies get ripped , it will be due to me being caught in a barbed wire fence. I love them and highly recommend them for those wanting a quality pair of jeans.
Great sale price on these jeans! Just wish they were button fly but the colour is gorgeous. I love the softness 2% elestane brings to these jeans. Comfortable to bend in and you can wear them immediately. Where cotton jeans need a long time to break in, these don't. My only gripe is they need to offer 28" or 29" inch inseam. I'm unfortunately short and tired of the high prices to have them hemmed. I have always wore Levi's jeans and always will. I purchase the men's jeans because they're just more comfortable and come in better colours.
I started wearing Levi’s jeans again, particularly the Levi’s 514 straight fit after wearing carhartt jeans for the past 20 years. What a pleasure to be in a pair of jeans that are so comfortable and form fitting, not baggy or falling off you cause they don’t fit your body properly. The stretch material in these jeans is amazing, it’s called Tencell lyocell .So far I’ve tried the 514’s and the 541’s and both have a great fit. I’m pleased enough to continue trying the the different styles. The only drawback of these stretch material jeans is you can tell they will not last as long as a pair made of straight denim. That’s okay with me though the trade off of having a form fitting Jean that is soo comfortable and looks good on you is worth it to me. I’m 5’8” tall and wear a 32x30 in these particular jeans. If you sign up on Levi’s site website they continually send you incredible deals so you really can’t beat it. It’s free to sign up and saves you much money!!Try these Levi’s, I surely doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Inconsistent design and fit. I am 5’8 180 pounds, bowlegged, and I am objectively very fit. I’ve had luck with 541 athletic fit 33 30 sizes but I must try all jeans from Levi’s on IN PERSON from now on. I thought the 517s would fit better in the thighs, because I’m squatting close to 405 these days and my jeans are starting to look like my wife’s pants. I have a huge butt and quads but I don’t want skin tight women’s jeans. I’m drowning in the 517s. I could gain 30 pounds of fat and still fit into the 517’s 33 inch waist. The 30 inch length is more like 31 inch. It’s altogether too baggy and long. The stretch waist is far too stretchy. The fabric on these pants are heavy and hot, not ideal in the summer.I realize my dimensions make it difficult to find off the ... MoreInconsistent design and fit. Felt like a waste of money. I really wanted to like these jeans, I tried a pair on in person and bought them online because the store didn’t have my size. The color is nice and the cut is comfortable, but after wearing them for about 4 hours they look terrible, baggy butt and saggy knees. They have the unfortunate problem of too much Spandex in the blend. I know Levi’s need to cut corners to make as much money as possible, but these jeans are probably going to the back of the closet with the rest of my cheap jeans. I’m too old to look like I’ve been hanging out behind a 7-11 practicing kick flips, eating skittles, and drinking Mickey’s.
These jeans are not heavy duty. They are thinner than normal jeans. However, they have some stretch capability. So they fit nicely. The color is great. They are not too tight or too loose. They fit me just right. 514s tend to be more light weight than other styles. But I knew this. Yet the price is the same. So it just depends what you like. If you want colored jeans, you normally have to get these made with lighter material. Just wash them on perm press or delicate and medium heat dry and they will last a long time.
I never leave reviews good or bad cause I don't care enough to do so. But these jeans are so bad I just had to leave a review. The jeans have already started to noticeably fade after only 3 washes. Pants are Paper thin, today I raised them up to the light and you can already see pin sized holes around the rear pockets and down the center seam. I have Walmart brand (George) jeans I paid $14 for that I've washed 40+ times that are holding up way better than these pants. Levi's used to make durable pants now they are riding the name and offering a mediocre product for a higher price.
