Does what it says on the tin. Had mine for over a year and it's still going strong. Like all humidifiers I've tried, there are enough nooks and crannies inside that cleaning out the pink stuff is a chore. I pray one day to discover one that is easy to clean. The smart features and app work just fine, but mostly go unused. It is nice to be able to turn of the front screen without getting out of bed though. But mostly I just want to set it and forget it so I always leave it on auto mode at my desired %. Having auto mode paired with a built in humidity sensor is definitely great. If I could just adjust the % from the front of the device instead of an app, this would be 4 stars, and if it was easy to clean, it'd be 5!

We got this Levoit Classic 300S Smart Ultrasonic Humidifier to use to moisten the dry air in the main part of our house, especially for this upcoming winter and also to use as necessary in our new grandbaby's nursery (that is also arriving this winter). We've been using it all day today to make sure it works well, and we've decided that it's a pretty cool humidifier. We love that it has a night light inside of the tank which will come in handy in the baby's room and that it has several settings for the force and amount of humidifying mist that comes out of it. They do recommend that you use distilled water in the tank which is a bit of a concern for me as to cost if we are using it a lot but that's just going to have to be a wait and see thing for now. It only comes with a couple of the filters it uses so I have already purchased a package of 16 more of them off of Amazon at a very reasonable cost of less than $7. It says it will use approximately one of them a month so the cost of replacing them is negligible. At this point in time, I am very pleased with the performance of this humidifier.

I've had the unit for about 12 years.I've been using humidifiers of various types for 30 years or more & I always use distilled water only, & never use the heat option. I find this Levoit to be acceptable, although it is not as customizable as the AOS. I have just read that the flexibility I'm looking for may be available through the VeSync app, which I will begin using. While the unit is relatively quiet, the noise is noticeable to a person with sensitive hearing.I like the top-filling feature, although removing the lid to refill it leads to water from the underside dripping during removal, a relatively minor inconvenience, but, I think, worth ... My partner wakes up congested almost every day and i finally caved and got him a humidifier so seem if it would help and it’s amazing the difference it makes. It’s got several levels depending on how much humidity you need there is a auto, low, medium, and high, and I love that it shows the level of humidity so you can get a good balance of humidity because too high actually isn’t too good for you. I also love that on a low setting I can let it go for up to three days without having to refill because the tank is so big, and by the time it’s empty I can give it a good clean to prevent build up. The app also has a scheduler so you can have it turn on/off and use different settings at different times.These features allow it to work smarter and save water, while keeping the air just as comfortable as other humidifiers that use up a lot more water a lot faster. Since I only use distilled water in my humidifiers, this saves me time and money as I don't need to keep buying so many jugs of distilled water all the time.I highly recommend this humidifier.
This humidifier is ok. I bought this for my bedroom because the air is pretty dry and my eyes were getting dry. This humidifier ok for what you're getting just not the best. Pros: The humidifier has a great app with amazing features and user interface. It has a decent size tank and lasted about 2 days on the max setting. Cons: The humidifier is probably best for rooms that 300 square feet or less, it is advertised for rooms between 205 and 505 sq ft but my room is about 450 sq ft amd it could barely keep the room humid. The only other con is the buttons on the device is not the best its better to control it via the app. The buttons on the device area little touchy and hard to adjust the settings on the device. Apart from that the device is pretty good.
I do not get the hype about this humidifier. The top fill feature and the low to no sound are the highlights of this unit. This unit is rated for a 300 to 500 sq ft room, however, the unit will not raise the humidity in a 204 sq ft room by no more than 5% or 6%. We use distilled water, close the door about 80% of the way, the heat is set at 68 degrees and yet the unit can only raise the humidity by 5% or 6%. The humidity reading on the unit itself reads about 5% higher than what the actual room's humidity is, so that information is useless. To date, we haven't had a need to use the App. I recommend this unit if you are looking for a quiet humidifier with the option of a night light, but keep in mind it probably won't increase the room's humidity by much.
Both WiFi and the humidity sensor failed within a year. The troubleshooting steps they give of course did nothing, and there doesn't seem to be any hard reset to fix the wifi. Instead of going into pairing mode, it just blinks the blue icon once and then does nothing. It still works as a dumb humidifier, although it's been loud since about a year old. Thoroughly cleaning it silences it, but only for a day or so. Cleaning is also a tedious, ineffective process. There are a number of areas you simply can't reach, and vinegar can only do so much. The best method I've found is to clean what you can, then run it on high for a few hours with straight vinegar in it. You'll want to do so outside or with the windows open.
