Ok first off here let me state that I am using a sabrent thunderbolt card reader for this test and at this time do not have other CFexpress cards to benchmark against so this is a blind review. When I get more cards and conduct more test I will circle back and update this review. So the card is rated for 1900MBps and is one of the fastest rated cards on the market as of the time of me writing this review. I was disappointed by the speed that I achieved with this card based on the rated speed. 1700MBps misses the mark by a wide margin and puts this on par with much cheaper and denser cards out there.I used a razer blade 17 (2022) for my testing that is rated for thunderbolt 4 speeds. Along with the aforementioned sabrent reader.

This is my 2nd Lexar Diamond card and couldn't be happier with it. Super fast, reliable, and when its on sale, it can't be beat! So many skeptics on Lexar Diamond in the WWW but don't have experience with it. Your loss not mine because this one delivers. Used it a lot on weddings and motorsports and it is RELIABLE! I was in Austin, TX for Formula 1 weekend and it just kept going. It gets warm but no heating issues whatsoever -- no temp warning issues on the Z9. If Lexar came up with a 325 or a 512, I'd be on it.

Very fast card, the fastest I own. Not much faster than my Velocity Cine cards. Given the price difference, I'll buy the velocity cards, but this is slightly faster. Lexar is a SOLID card maker.

Easily records 8k video, continuous shooting is no issue for the card. But to get the read speed you need to match your PC/Mac port to the correct card reader.
I recently picked up a Nikon Z9 during my travels in Japan, and I needed a CFexpress card that can handle the high bitrate recording performance I would need to work with video. If you're simply a photographer, this card would likely be overkill in nearly all situations. But for anyone looking to get into any video on their camera, especially if pushing high framerate 4k or heavy 8k recording, you simply accept no substitutes. Lexar makes one of the best CFexpress cards for this purpose, and I highly recommend this model.
Seems very fast I can almost shoot continuous 20fps full raw on the Z9 and the buffer only just slows down when it does hit the limit. And just a quick lift and its fully cleared in less than a second. Most impressive and it stays fairly cool. Wont know about longevity until I use it for a year or so but looks really good so far.
It's a memory card from a reputable manufacturer. According to reviews, at the time of purchase, it has the highest burst rate. I got it to go with a new Canon EOS R5. So far no complaints.
Absolutely perfect, very quick read write speeds and specially up to hundreds of megabytes. Best use the Lexar USB 3.2 reader
On a Nikon Z9, this card performed great before hitting the buffer. I tested different ways. Lossless raw 20 fps it did 116 shots, High Efficiency raw * 20 fps it did 688, HE raw 20 fps it did 93, lossless raw 12 fps it did 298, @ HE raw 12 fps it just kept going! I have other cards like the Velocity Cine 256 and the Delkin Power 256 and know this Lexar Diamond 256 is way better than the other two. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
