I have the 2TB version of Lexar SL300. When connected to my smartphone (Android 15 Galaxy S24 ) I'm noticing random crashes/freezes/resets of the Lexar SSD during copying or moving operations. It works fine on every other device I tried it with (iPad Pro, Mac and PC) so I wasn't really able to pin point what was happening. My guess is the phone isn't able to provide enough power through the USB C port which is strange because I use regular portable hard drives all the time plugged into my phone directly with no problems at all considering HDDs also need more power with moving parts and motors. I tried connecting a USB C hub (Satechi USB C multiport hub) to my phone and then plugged the Lexar SSD in along with a phone charger plugged into the hub for passthrough ... I tried connecting a USB C hub (Satechi USB C multiport hub) to my phone and then plugged the Lexar SSD in along with a phone charger plugged into the hub for passthrough charging the phone and the SSD seems to work fine so this likely seems like a power draw issue. This really reduces this SSDs portability factor in my opinion. I mostly use it with my Mac so I'm not sweating it out too much at this moment and also you might have different results with other phones.
