(2,621 reviews)

The 256GB Professional 1667x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from Lexar features a storage capacity of 256GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support advanced DSLR functions such as continuous shutter bursts and rapid shooting, as well as raw and JPEG captures. This card is also well-suited for video capture, including 4K, 3D, and Full HD video, and can achieve maximum read speeds of up to 250 MB/s and maximum write speeds of up to 120 MB/s. Thanks to its V60 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 60 MB/s. UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V60 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s. To help protect against accidental file deletion, there is a built-in write protect switch. To further safeguard against possible data loss, users can download free Image Rescue software that is designed to recover most photo and video files.

This SD card works perfectly with my SLR camera. My main camera I use it in is the Canon T6i and it works flawlessly. Simply insert the SD card and use it. Once I'm done taking my photos I can easily upload them to my computer by inserting the SD card into my SD card reader in my computer. I had no errors or issues transferring photos from my card to my computer. Having 128GB allows plenty of room for photos (or documents if you're using it work business purposes). ALMOST fast enough for my Sony A9

This memory works fine. If I hadn't already used a 64Gb 299M/s write speed Sony SF-G64T memory card in my Sony A9, I might be more satisfied with this much slower Lexar card. In truth, this card is perfectly fine. It writes as fast as claimed, but when shooting bursts of more than just a few frames, I'm seeing the camera taking several seconds to clear the buffer. This is only an issue when I want to shoot video while the buffer clears. I can keep shooting stills, but am restricted from shooting video until the memory card catches up. I never once had this issue with the faster Sony card. You get what you pay for!

So, I went and bought 10 ofthem for a major concert event, only to find on post that on the Blackjmagic Hyperdeck Studio Mini these cards drop frames every few seconds or so after the first 10 minutes of recording. That’s when I came to terms with the fact that not all SDXC cards are the same. A card rated at 95 Mbps may read at that speed, but only write around 30 Mbps. In the video world, it’s not the read speed we have to be careful of, it’s the write speed. Thankfully, B&H (unlike other stores) lists both the read speed and the write speed of their SDXC cards. With the specs provided by B&H, I was able to find these Lexar Professional 1667x cards and decided to try them as an all-in-all solution. They are a reasonable price trade-off and work fine in all of our cameras. The Hyperdeck Test - Recently, on a shoot with BET Networks, we tried the Lexar Professional 1667X on the Hyperdeck. At the Hyperdeck’s highest H.264 record settings, these cards did drop frames. However, that was easily fixed by dropping down to ProRes at a slightly lower bit rate. In short, we can use these cards in all of our equipment, just not the ultimate record mode on the Hyperdeck – Which is fine for the vast majority of what we shoot. We would recommend this card for professional videography, but like with any card, suggest you purchase a couple and test them thoroughly in your specific equipment and workflow.

Got these for new camera
20 May 2022

I got these cards as they were recommended for a newCanon EOS 90D camera I was purchasing from B&H. I have also used Lexar Professional media cards in my other digital cameras and a new Canon HF G60 video camera. My Lexar media cards have all functioned properly and I have never had one fail. So when I saw that these Lexar 128gb Professional cards were recommended for my new Canon 90D, I added the 2-pack to my camera order. Shipping was fast, got the cards and the new camera within 3 days of ordering them. These will be perfect for an upcoming vacation trip. Thanks B&H for the great service.

Purchased these to use as backup cards, but they replaced my older cards and now are the main ones I use in my Canon DSLRs. I plan to use them as well in my soon to get Canon mirrorless bodies.Have used Lexar products since digital started and never an issue. These are a great value as well having them be a 2 pack.ONLY wish that they came with the small plastic protective case that most every other one comes with.

Thanks BH for good reasonable price products.
5 January 2022

Actually I've always used sandisk. But as the quality became different so I started looking for something stable and came to the Lexar. And where to buy it to get not a fake? Of course from the dealer. So I came to BH where in addition to the above I also received a good price with a discount. As for the card itself: looks solid and quality made. The speed is enough for recording 4K video in max quality on my Canon R6 in non-stop mode (I'll post the exact speed later but you can find it everywhere). The price-speed ratio is the best.I have Lexar not so long so I can't say much about the failure and durability but it should be good regarding reviews.I currently recommend this product.

Thicker than my other cards, but worked at medium bit rates
21 June 2023

I was looking for some larger cards as I was spending too much time unloading one card from the GH5 while recording to the second slot. These were thicker than the cards I have been using and so were a bit stiff and sticky going into / out of the card slots for the GH5 (particularly slot #1 for some reason). But they do fit and I was able to get plenty of recording without error at 150mbps. My other cards support 400mbps but are a lot more money so, when recording at 8-bit, this fits the requirement.

Worked well in my camera.
15 June 2023

The card worked well in my camera. No problem recording photos or videos. Speed tested on the PC, using a USB adapter, and it is comparable to others. I have posted the read write test in the photos, and it is a far cry from the claimed read / write speeds, but it may be due to the adapter I am using, I'm not sure of that. I don't have a 4k capable camera so I cannot attest to it's 4k capabilities. Otherwise, in my opinion, it worked great for me, and should perform well for most users.

Works as Advertised

I got these to use with my Panasonic G9 for a mixture of photos and video. These handled 10-bit, 150mbps 4K video without any problems and I haven't had any reliability or data corruption issues despite rewriting the entire cards dozens of times. With my Kingston UHS-II card reader these meet the advertised speed of 250 MB/s when reading large video files and I have been very happy with these cards. I do wish they would write faster during burst shooting, but that's probably a job for V90 cards.

good capacity and quick transfer

Great product. A must have for DSLR , I never have any problems with loading or transferring data. Connects perfect every time, and with super fast transfer rates. Never any waiting for writing. Using for photos I can fit around 6,000 at high quality on a EOS, once you start adding photos , the quantity will vary quite a bit but - but 6k-7k is avg. For 4k video it tells me 50 minutes at higher quality, up to 6 hours at medium quality, I never use quality lower than that so you may be able to get more.
