High capacity for all your storage needs., but not sure why after install into the second m2 slot, below gfx card area, the temperature registered at idle is 48 degrees, which seem a bit high to me. Is this normal temperature at idle? My first m2 ssd is kioxia xg6 1 tb. Temperature registered for kioxia is 40 degrees. This is also near and below gfx area. Need advice on how to resolve high temp on this m2 ssd. My motherboard is Msi z790 tomahawk max WiFi .

Unfortunately it does NOT achieve the advertised sequential read/write speeds. It advertises 7400/6500 MB/s, my unit only achieves 6550/5400 MB/s which is signifantly lower than advertised.I've tested a Kingston KC3000 advertised with 7000/7000 MB/s in the exact same motherboard slot, and it achieves 7330/7050.Other than that it is a solid SSD that is priced lower than similar competitors, with a good heatsink.

Performs as reviewed on Techpowerup.Good performance and value per $ per Tb of space.Good temps and performance on GB-X670E-Xtreme Mobo as secondary data drive.Mwave also delivered the product without issues, unlike MyDeal/JW Computer/Sendle that failed to deliver the same item to the same address. Still attempting to get refund from those mentioned parties.

A blazingly fast SSD.I heard from others that heat build up may cause issues, so I paired mine with a $10 aftermarket heatsink (the JEYI Warship/iGlacier), so I personally haven't had any issues. Your results may vary, though I recommend some kind of heat sink.Overall fantastic value to capacity ratio, (at 2tb wile on sale) wile also being faster than almost any other SSD I've ever come across.Shipping was delayed, however that's likely due to the holiday season rush, when I bought.
Reached 7.018MBs in read and 6.474MBs in write, which is slightly below the advertised maximum speeds for the read part. Its used to store my Steam library and is behaving perfectly well for the task. The price-quality balance is great and the 4TB is ensuring Im not getting an upgrade in storage for quite some time.Straight recommendation for anyone looking for a reliable, fast and reasonably-priced storage solution.L
Working well even though I only have a gen3 slot in my legion 5 laptop. With 4TB I won’t have to worry about running out of space anytime soon. Competes with top end Samsung drives for a lot less. Scan are a reliable retailer, and shipping was fast and easy. Would definitely recommend staying away from unreputable retailers when buying SSDs and memory, I know I can trust scan to deliver an original product and in this case they were selling for the best price on the net. Would recommend
My spinning disc drive NAS failed after about 6 years. I decided to build an all-SSD NAS and in my search for the SSDs, I looked for good endurance, specified in TBW (terabytes written), rather than outright speed. The Lexar NM790 4 TB has TBW of 3000 (the Crucial P3 Plus is only 800; Kingston NV2 is 1280). Only the Kingston KC3000 is higher at 3200 (but costs £50 more). So those two Lexar SSDs are now fitted and running quickly and quietly.
