Lexar is a trusted brand and this M2 SSD is no exception. Installation was easy, straight forward and Windows recognized it for the full size immediately. Replaced a Sata SSD with this Lexar and there was a noticeable difference with transfer speeds and boot times. Item came packaged nicely and installed easily. Just make sure your desktop or laptop has a M2 slot available. Transfer speeds were sustained around 500Mbps but spiking at near 900Mbps when transferring 80GB of data from this drive to a Sata SSD. Imaging an existing copy of Windows from another drive to this one was a breeze and took minutes. This device has a ton of storage that will last you a long time. Noticed an increase in FPS as well when gaming having an onboard M2 SSD vs Sata SSD. Definitely ... MoreLexar is a trusted brand and this M2 SSD is no exception. I like that this solid state drive was easy to install. I also liked that this drive came with a nice screw to attach the hardware. This drive has excellent performance. Data is read and transferred super fast. I like that this drive is compatible with Ubuntu. Overall, this is an excellent solid state drive.

Granted, I tested the Lexar with a synthetic benchmark with no data on the drive, but this drive is no slouch. In fact, I'd give them 6 Stars if I could. Here's why:1) They give you the M.2 mounting screw. THANK YOU!!!2) It's well crafted and it appears that the heatsink could be removed. There are tiny mounting screws on the side. The heatsink, for it's small size, also appears to be effective at dissipating heat. When I ran it with some big file copies, it was about as hot as the motherboard's much larger nearly 4 inch long NVME heatsink (My X570 board only supplies a heatsink spreader for one of the two NVME slots)3) In terms of real world performance, I am getting a top write speed of 2 GB/s. I just copied 103gb of large files in less than 60 seconds.4) ... MoreGranted, I tested the Lexar with a synthetic benchmark with no data on the drive, but this drive is no slouch. That's higher than a Samsung 970 EVO Plus (0.3 DWPD) but lower than a Western Digital Red SN700 (1 DWPD). You could use this drive as a NAS drive cache though, is what I'm saying.I am very happy with this drive. Thanks, B&H, for stocking it.

This delivers lower power consumption and extended battery life for all of your high-performance computing needs. The Lexar NM800PRO SSD, unlike traditional hard disk drives, has no moving parts and is thus built to last. Furthermore, it is shock and vibration-resistant, making it a tough and dependable SSD. With PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe 1.4 technology and backward compatibility with PCIe 3.0, you can experience 2x faster speeds than PCIe 3.0 SSDs and up to 12x faster than SATA SSDs. TBW values are okay; 512GB for 500TB, 1TB for 1000TB and for 2TB that is 2000TB.
My son uses this SSD for his XBOX. Installation was simple. Had he used it for his gaming computer, he would have simply opened up the housing and added the SSD, which is still an option. For now, the SSD works as expected and created a lot of space. When necessary, I will transfer the SSD to the PC. The space is a nice addition.
I installed this into my pc and it doesn't even recognize it. I was longing forward to using the extra space. Without it registering it is installed I have no other info about it. Im very knowledgeable with computers and such so this was a disappointment. The specs for look good but outside of that.
This is such a cute bag for the Stitch fans! It is great for either children or adults. It has one main zipper and then a nice sized zipper pocket inside along with another pocket. You could fit stuff you’d normally have in a purse or need for a day out. It has a nice, shiny, metal STITCH plate on the side. The only thing I don’t like is the adjustable straps. I like that the straps are adjustable, but you need to sit there and fuss with it to adjust the straps. I like being able to adjust the straps while wearing the bag, as with all of my other backpacks and mini backpack purses you can just grab the buckle and slide it, but this one is a pain to adjust. Overall it is acute, good quality bag.
I've an older MSI i7 8-core PC with 64 GB of RAM that came installed with a Samsung 512 GB NVME on a PCIe Gen 3 motherboard. Long story short: Cloned the PC C: Drive SSD to the Lexar Professional 512 GB NM800 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2, then swapped the drives. Took two reboots for Windows to accommodate the Lexar to the system. After a good boot-up, I ran the DiskMark64 and was amazed to see a new increase of read/write of 1200 MBS, to 3400 MBS, from 2300 MBS. Note that speeds will be affected by RAM transfer speeds. Apps load in faster now. Also installed the same Lexar model, but a1 TB, on a PCIe 4x Gen 3 card which is used as a Drive D for photo batch processing and holding cache folders so as not to fill the C Drive, which I strictly use for the OS, some docs, ... MoreI've an older MSI i7 8-core PC with 64 GB of RAM that came installed with a Samsung 512 GB NVME on a PCIe Gen 3 motherboard. I use other standard disk drives for storage and archives. Will soon be getting an updated MSI i9 PC with Gen 4 motherboard with the faster DDR5 RAM. These Lexar drives should haul data in and out even faster.
With the need for space on a PS5 and now with laptops and home PC computers heading the direction of NVME SSDs, I have used a few different brands of these devices, most notably with Samsung being considered one of the leaders, if not the leader, of the pack. I was interested in comparing Lexar’s version of the 2TB SSD to see how it fares against Samsung and the others. This stick is compatible with the PS5 as well as other devices that can take NVME SSD memory. I like the fact that it has a built-in heatsink, which is necessary these days, especially if you are using in a console or gaming PC.Installation is pretty easy whether you install in a PS5 or computer. I initially tried it in the PS5 and the PS5 recognized it immediately and formatted it within a couple minutes. I was able to install quickly and easily as well as play games with no issue. Although this wasn’t this stick’s main purpose, I wanted to see how it compared with my already installed Samsung SSD. In this case this worked equally as well and as fast, if not slightly faster than the Samsung. In this case, the main purpose of the SSD is to replace a failing SSD that is about 4 to 5 years old in my Dell laptop. Installation was quick and easy. In this case, Windows 10 installed very quickly along with any updates. The SSD drive is quick and is working well in the laptop and has brought it back to life. The memory also has a good 5-year warranty (Comparable to other brands), which may get tested if you use the SSD in a console. I do think these are a bit pricy even on sale, but if you play a lot of console games or need a speedier upgrade for a PC, a necessary purchase.4 stars
This Lexar pro SSD is as amazing as you would expect from anything Lexar! First I think it’s important to mention this is NOT an external portable drive! If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in the wrong place. This plugs into a slot on a motherboard in either your gaming device or most likely a desktop PC. I’ve attached a picture of the required slot to give you an idea of what to look for on your device. You will need a fairly new machine to use it, and not all new motherboards carry the slot so check yours before you buy. There is also a mounting screw if you have the option in your device to keep this securely fastened. The heatsink does a fantastic job cutting down on your overall temp inside your machine which is a big deal for comfort if you have a room ... MoreThis Lexar pro SSD is as amazing as you would expect from anything Lexar!
