I swapped out the original HDD for this SSD on an older HP laptop & now windows 10 loads quick. No waiting that feels like hours for loading of windows or programs/updates. It's like a new machine!It maybe a cheaper drive compared to other brands but this Lexar doesn't disappoint. It's up there with the best in speed. I'm getting the 550mbps speed as stated no problem.

I purchased this drive to upgrade a friend's computer. I selected it because its capacity ensured I definitely would not have to resize their old 480GB drive to fit its image on the new drive. It seems to work well. My one complaint is it came with no mounting screws. I suspect I don't have any of those standard screws in my stash. I bought an adaptor to mount it and found all I needed from that kit were the screws that came with it.

Very happy with this product. It is very competitive price and great performance. I replaced this SSD with old HDD on Core i3 HP Pavilion laptop which is about 7 years old, and re-installed Windows with recovery media. This made the laptop super fast, no stress of executing applications on Windows. If a laptop with HDD is slow and you would like to continue using it for reasons, this SSD is great to replace with HDD.

My old Dell 3000 series laptop used to take a couple of minutes to boot and browsing was a nightmare. I was planning to upgrade the laptop but thought of giving a final try using this SSD and it worked like a miracle. With this SSD upgrade I have a very fast boot time and can surf internet. The battery life has improved a lot due to the low power consumption for SSD. My old laptop got a new life due to this SSD.Very happy to recommend this product

This SSD is already one of the lowest-priced and the sale price made it an irresistible offer to upgrade to a 512GB SSD at a great price.Breezy installation and works well as expected. Fantastic SSD for good value!

I purchased this specific SSD made by Lexar from B&H because it was a brand I was familiar with, and felt I could trust in delivering decent performance; having installed this in a few different MacBook Pro laptops, I can say this SSD is worth every penny. It is extremely fast, great value for your money, and reliable. I would absolutely buy this and any Lexar brand SSD again, should I need more in the future.

Soup up a slow computer

I had two laptops that were no more than three years old and after the upgrade to Microsoft windows 11 they just seem to slow down. The simple fix was to put two of these drives in the two computers and then clean load Microsoft windows 11 - 64 bit The difference was unbelievable it was almost like a totally different computer and also with a new operating system. These are such a wonderful set of drives and do just fine performance and affordability
