Complete Garbage. Won't work with windows 10 properly. It's a constant issue of installing and reinstalling drivers. Can't get the scanner to work at all.

We have two of these units. They offer a lot of higher end features. One of the primary considerations was the ability to email directly through my Gmail account. Many others require an app on a computer to get the email sent, but these can access Gmail natively. I also like that I have several options for toners. I found that the 3000-page yield toners were the best value. However, note that toners listed in the return program are lower priced, but they have expiration dates, and you are required to return the empty toners to Lexmark and cannot refill them. The size is reasonable as well. I docked a star because of the return program and because I think the web interface could be easier to navigate.

I installed the printer with the mindset that I had time to get a cartridge. I use this printer in the pharmacy but after 1 day, the cartridge needed replacing. Consumers should be advised the Lexmark only puts starter cartridges in printers and the cartridge does not last long. Consumers should be advised to purchase cartridge at the time of purchase. Perhaps Lexmark does not want to invest in putting cartridges (not starter cartridges) in the printer due to the expense factor, so this expense is passed on to the consumer. The least you can do is warn the consumer. Now I have to wait 5 days before I can get a new cartridge because no one sells them in my rural community.
Got a couple of these to date and they are easy and works great. Lexmark was also there to help us get the first one setup correctly. No hassle support.
