4K and USB-C - Great Combo

LG makes beautiful displays. This Monitor has USB-C, 4K and HDR 400 with DCI-P3 95% Color Gamut that makes images and videos look better and brighter. Color accuracy is great. my work requires vertical UI development and this monitor supports it easily. The VESA Mount support makes it easy to use any VESA mounts. I have paired with my computer easily with USB-C Cable and enjoying the display and the same time charging it. Loving the clutter free desk and clarity in the display.

I have been using this monitor for a few months now and really enjoying the size and colors in the display. HDR400 produces vibrant and life like images. The screen size is perfect for my work and personal photo editing work. The USB-C option is super clean to manage cables. The Menu options are also very easy to understand and switch between multiple sources. I would definitely recommend LG Monitors to every one.

I got one of these in Feb 2022, it worked for about 45 days after which it would no longer turn on. Thankfully the store where I bought it exchanged it, and the new one died within 6 months (same MO, would not turn on).Contacted LG and they won't give me a shipping label, I have to drive 45 min to a repair centre that's only open 9-4 Mon-Thu (like I can just take off for 2 hours from work to drive there). It's too bad, the picture quality was great. But the product is bad. I will never buy an LG monitor again.

We bought a lot monitors, so we have a large sample group to draw from about this frustrating and preventable defect. This speaks volumes to how LG's quality control must be going down. I understand that there are difficulties in acquiring parts the last few years, so sure, somethings might go wrong. But how long where these monitors continued to be sold at a deep discount through Best Buy after these defects became known? THAT RIGHT THERE is what's going to make me think twice about going with LG again. But I digressWhen the first one broke, I called LG customer service. It was terrible. It took an hour and 4 transfers before someone finally gave me the information about the authorized repair shop. At this point when one breaks, I just call the repair shop directly, say another one broke, and send it over with the receipt. They don't even ask questions any more. The repair shop does a good job. Everything comes back working eventually. Weirdly I think the boot screens are now different for the first time they boot up after repairs. I'm thinking there was a firmware updates done during repairs, but I could be wrong.

Great monitor - but keeps going black
12 January 2022

Very good picture quality, colours, responsiveness and a nicely improved case. But after around two months of use, the screen has started going black (including the OSD, if it's up) for around a second - sometimes for 10-20 "blinks" at a time. If I power the monitor off completely and start again it settles for a few hours or minutes, but now occurs daily at some point. Changing settings or cables hasn't fixed it, and the other (older LG) monitor I have connected to the same computer doesn't exhibit the same issue. Suggests poor build quality in this unit which is disappointing after less than 3 months.

Screen Stopped working in 2 Months
16 August 2022

I purchased 2 of these monitors and within 2 months of using them they are no longer turning on. The monitors were working great until one day they just decided to no longer power on anymore. I tried everything, got no where with the LG customer service and now I am stuck with 2 monitors that are useless to me. For anyone that is considering these monitors please steer clear you'll just be wasting your money and causing yourself more headaches if you actually buy this product. LG Monitors have significantly lost their quality and are no longer what they used to be.

Vivid colors and simple set up
14 April 2023

I received this LG 4K monitor and set it up in my home office. First, the set up was extremely easy. It was essentially a plug a play situation. I have a new gaming laptop and it smoothly connects with the USB-C cable. Seriously simple especially for cord management! It boasts with beautiful vivid high-resolution color and the screen is wide enough for me to have 2 windows on screen. I have also streamed shows and movies on this monitor, it is as good if not better than TV quality. Another great feature is the stand and monitor adjust not only in height but in portrait mode too! This is a lot of monitor and features at a pretty decent price.

great for productivity/content creaton
9 March 2023

So I'm using this monitor via usb-c connection with a laptop. This monitor has IPS panel and 4k at 27" which is great for content creation or photo video work , you don't need more thatn 60hz if you are not a serious fps gamer... the connectivity is great here, there are all types of possible ports hdmi, dp and even usb-c. There is a wide range of vertical adjustment and you can easily flit it 90 degrees. the stand if nice and sturdy. The overall design and look is great too, slick modern look! overall highly recommended.
