For the price I can't find a better spec'd monitor. USB-C delivery means only one cable needed from monitor to laptop (M1 MacBook in this case) to provide video and power to laptop. USB ports on monitor are really handy especially as Apple only supply 2 thunderbolt (effectively USB-C) ports to M1 MacBook.Monitor display is big (had to go big as Apple don't M1 Macs to natively support more than one external monitor - that is really annoying) and image quality good given the price but no match for the Mac display (but it's a shed load cheaper). The display is certainly good enough for office work and the occasional game by hooking it up to an X-box (connect via one of the two HDMI). I guess it won't do for hardcore gamers but seems OK to me. The monitor has ... MoreFor the price I can't find a better spec'd monitor. Overall a really good buy and probably pick of the bunch if you want to connect a Mac to a 2nd monitor and do don't want to spend too much.

I have 3 of these monitors. As a software engineer, I tried different monitors in years, but this was the only brand-model I said “Dear God….. i wish i can get rid off them..” check online and you will find thousands of posts with exact same issue with these monitors. Screen goes black, 10 seconds later comes back. Randomly. Very annoying. And yet LG does not even accept it at first. You send it to them, it takes 4-6 weeks, they say it is fixed but boom same issue again… anyways, they are all in mint condition visually and I would sell them to half price if someone makes an offer.

The picture quality looks great to my eyes, even off axis. The UI with its joystick is reasonably snappy, most of the time, strangely better than the LG 32UN880.I like the way the ports are on the back rather than on the bottom.I did have compatibility problems: It works fine with my main work laptop (which is quite old) but I could not get HDMI to work with my home build gaming desktop with it's Radeon RX 6700 XT. The display port connection worked OK though. Likewise with a newer laptop thunderbolt worked fine but HDMI only worked at 30Hz. The LG 32UL750 was a replacement for a LG 32UG89 which has no compatibility issues at all. I was using the HDMI cable supplied with the unit.On one occasion the speakers stopped working and I had to do a factory reset to ... MoreThe picture quality looks great to my eyes, even off axis. Great Monitor - Recommended
31 August 2021

I have been using this monitor for a few weeks, every business day all day. My primary requirement is for work. I'm an IT consultant and require a sharp, large and high res monitor. I work on large spreadsheets, large project schedules and large technical drawings. I'm sensitive to colour accuracy. I also occasionally use the monitor for streaming movies and photo editing. For the beforementioned requirements, I'm very happy with this monitor, it fits the bill very well. 4K HDR streaming and photo quality looks great to me.I'm connecting by USB-C from a Thunderbolt 4 dock connected to a Windows 10 notebook. I have had no screen black out or any other connection issues. I sit directly in front of the screen 60cm away and it's fine.Headphone output audio quality isn't great and nor are the internal speakers. It would have been great if the monitor had a digital audio output.

Poor backlight quality on an expensive monitor
6 January 2019

I thought buying the middle tier monitor in the 32" LG range would ensure I got a good quality screen. Whilst it's great that it hasn't come with any dead pixels or stuck ones, I noticed when watching movies or playing games the brightened corners were really distracting and bad.It looks like the quality control in the factory isn't working well because when I squeeze the corners the light bleed disappears so it seems this is an issue that could be fixed, but it's probably not an issue for LG.If I didn't need a replacement monitor I would have waited to see what Dell would have released as I do like the super thin bezels and the joystick controller on the bottom for the menu control.Another negative for me was the fact that the inputs and connectors on the ... MoreI thought buying the middle tier monitor in the 32" LG range would ensure I got a good quality screen. Hopefully it will last me a long time but I plan to replace it when I see an alternative only because of the backlight bleed problem.

Potentially great but screen goes black on MacBook
4 November 2021

I have this display plugged in via the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 to a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018) running macOS Big Sur (11.6.1) and the monitor goes black/off for several seconds and then comrd back on. It does this a couple times of day and is annoying. I have my headphones plugged into this monitor too and they stop working when the monitor blinks out. I want to like this monitor but hard to give a good review because of this problem. I do not use this for gaming or video so I am tolerating these black outs but I want it fixed.

Good Points: Bigger screen than my previous one. Much sharper picture. So much that I haven't worked out how to do but have bought it for the split screen capabilities for working on family tree, working on photo's, editing video etc.Improvement Points: Nothing so far!

Good Points: 1. Large screen.2. 4k (3840x2160) and wide viewing angle.2. USB-C that is able to power a laptop.3. USB hub for peripherals.4. Good enough screen quality (probably best balance of quality to price).5. Built in speakers.Improvement Points: 1. colour not as rich as apple monitors (but given it costs a lot less than apple its OK given the price).2. The built in speakers aren't the best

Terrific Image, Great Software & Firmware Support

I wanted to upgrade to a good quality 30" - 32" monitor and after research selected the LG 32UL7500W. I do general business work, personal photo editing watch some videos and normal personal computer work. I do not do any video games.I am using the unit with a 8th gen i7 chip through a USB C cable and a Thunderbolt hub. I've had it for two weeks and it has terrific image, color, software control, the ability to perform firmware updates and has good energy savings features. All went smooth.I very much like the unit and i very much like the LG support system. I can recommend this without reservations. On a side note, I use the unit's internal speakers with a pass through to external speakers and the sound is terrific.

Very regret….
3 December 2021

I bought 3 of these monitors and so regret! One of them completely gon black and sent to warranty almost a month ago and still waiting. And the other two also have similar problem. The screen flickers and goes black time by time for about 10-15 seconds. Especially if you are in a meeting or gaming, you basically have nothing on your screen for a while. When i search online, i actually noticed that so many people having same issue with these monitors. This was first time I was tryinG LG but for sure it will be the last time. Never recommend it. These monitors unfortunately took the whole LG image down for me and i will probably skip thos brand for future for any electronic item for good.
