I needed a monitor to supplement my TV connection for multi-tasking on my computer. I immediately was impressed with how much better the picture quality was. The text and graphics are ridiculously smoother.I loved the monitor's crisp view so much I bought another one and stacked above the original. I connected them via Display Port and adjusted their brightness and power saver settings to my preference. They perform flawlessly!!My only gripe would be that the connections should be vertical instead of horizontal. The monitors a relatively thin, however, the Display Port cable sticks out 2" behind the monitor. This is would only be useful if you planned on mounting flat on a wall.

Having had it only a couple of weeks, I cannot speak to the reliability other than I had 24 inch LG screens that are still good. I give it 4 stars because of the price. Although this is a very good price compared to other screens with similar features, it is still too expensive for what you actually get. Max 75Hz, 1440p is at the low end of 27 inch screen features. Given that it also does not have height adjustment, it is just good, not great.Pros: Big, bright screen ideal for graphics and text, provided your display card can handle it. The difference between 24 and 27 inches is noticeable. The inputs are on par with expected: display port and HDMI. Easy setup. I like the stand, gives me more room than standard ones. For a base 2560x1440p display it is an excellent screen.Cons: The speakers are okay, but there are better sound options.I do not use the speakers, too soft to be useful to me. No height adjustment.Other: GPU settings might have to be adjusted if it doesn't run at 75Hz out of the box. SO far this is just what I wanted. At the price it is very good, especially compared to other offerings out there.

Nice monitor for business purposes, unable to comment on gaming applications. However, after many chats and phone conversations, unable to obtain 2560 x 1440 resolution as advertised. I am using it as part of a three monitor display, as the primary monitor, but could not connect directly to my laptop with the provided HDMI cable, or any other HDMI cable tried. Had to connect through a video hub. 2048 x 1152 is the best resolution I've been able to get, and the higher available resolution was the primary reason for paying the high price on this monitor. I'm adapting to the oversized images with various fixes, but I did too much work setting up my system to return it. Disappointed, but it works, and the 32" display would have been really great if only the resolution ... MoreNice monitor for business purposes, unable to comment on gaming applications. Pros: great quality, mid-range specs, good price when on sale, HDR, 1440p, very readable and gameable, thin bezelCons: no auto detect for inputs, lots of clicks to change inputsI use a pair of these monitors, mainly for browsing, working, email, calendar, power points, etc. Very easy on the eyes for work. Limited game use, but when I do, the quality is excellent. I do switch between inputs quite often, so I'm frequently pushing controls to change. Wish there was an auto detect option or a single button to more easily change inputs.
I bought this monitor six months ago and was quite pleased with the coloring and the brightness. For the very average user, I'd say this is a good monitor for you. However, I noticed some odd things happen with this monitor. First of all, the warnings I get when I switch the monitor to a 75 refresh rate that the monitor is not at it's normal resolution of 2560x1440, 60 refresh rate. I thought this was a 75hz monitor so why all the warnings from my monitor if I use it at 75hz and not 60? I even downloaded a driver that showed up on their website, although they don't have one for this 32 inch model they do point to a similar 27" model which I suppose is the Windows 11 driver we are supposed to use...maybe?Additionally, I noticed I cannot leave HDR enabled on the ... I even downloaded a driver that showed up on their website, although they don't have one for this 32 inch model they do point to a similar 27" model which I suppose is the Windows 11 driver we are supposed to use...maybe?Additionally, I noticed I cannot leave HDR enabled on the monitor because for some reason all of a sudden I lose access to a bunch of monitor settings. For example, Picture Mode all of a sudden HDR Effect, Reader and Color Weakness are no longer select-able. As well as under Picture in the menu, the Color Adjust option is completely greyed out now too. As well in Qujick Settings all of a sudden lose access to Contrast and Color Temp. Bizarre things that don't necessarily qualify the monitor as bad, but very odd and this was my first big monitor purchase so I was really hoping for a smoother experience. But as I mentioned previously, if you're not like I am and tweaking settings for Windows 11 gaming, and then trying to read on it, and then watch a movie in HDR, and then back a bunch like I am then you should be fine with this monitor. Plus the gaming does look good in it, I just have to remember to re-enable the settings on the monitor again before I load a game. If you look at my pictures the first one has HDR off, the rest show what happens to the menu when I enable HDR.
This was a replacement for a monitor from a different manufacturer I returned because I was unhappy with the picture quality. I am very pleased with this LG. I use it for work, mainly using Revit and AutoCAD drafting software which really shines on a higher resolution monitor like this. I sometime have to zoom programs like word and excel due to the higher resolution screen making text smaller, but once zoomed text looks crisp and very sharp. We have had great experiences with previous LG monitors and so far this one is no exception.
I'm really enjoying this monitor that I bought a month ago. I upgraded from a 23-inch LCD monitor to this 27-inch LED monitor. I really appreciate the extra on-screen area when working with multiple windows. I’m using it on Windows 10. The 23-inch monitor was 1920x1080 and this monitor is 2560 x 1440. Given that my old monitor was a 23-inch monitor, the fonts on the screen of the new monitor come out a bit smaller, so that gives even more effective extra space on the screen. The new font sizes are just fine, and I am happy with the results.I like the monitor’s features. The image quality and color are good. I use it primarily for general text editing, programming, and photo editing, and am very happy with my purchase.
Bought this for a MacBook Pro to use as an external display via the DisplayPort connection and to connect to a Mac mini via HDMI, so this model was perfect since it has two HDMI inputs plus DisplayPort. Screen is more than bright enough, no bleed at edges or uneven brightness. The joystick controller is a nice change from the usual row of buttons on the left or right side that most displays have, but even better is the option to install not one, but two software utilities that allow for control of many of the hardware functions in software, and also implement a way to share your keyboard and mouse between two computers. 99% of the time this stuff is only available on Windows, so thanks for thinking of us Mac users, LG!There are a few very minor issues I have with ... One is that the number of button presses to switch inputs seems excessive (like 5 or 6) and I was hoping that the software could do that, but alas, it could not and LG support confirmed that that is not an option nor is it on their radar. Also, it lacks USB hub functionality, which does exist on other displays in this price range so that would have been a nice extra but not a dealbreaker. Finally, the DisplayPort version is configurable, from 1.1 to 1.2 to 1.4, which is great, but it was preset to 1.4, and I could not get my MacBook's screen to show on the LG even though the MacBook indicated that it was connected. I was about ready to return it to the vendor in frustration, until some Googling revealed that Macs of my vintage do not support DisplayPort versions beyond 1.2, and it was only then I discovered that the DP version could be selected in the hardware controls. Setting it back to DP 1.2 worked a treat and I was good to go. That is more my failure to consult the manual than a problem with the display, but in my defense, the manual states "There may be no video or audio output depending on the DP (DisplayPort) version of the PC," but does NOT then go on to suggest something to the effect of, "The DP version can be changed via hardware controls (see page 19)," so that is my humble recommendation for a future version of the documentation. So, all in all, with those minor caveats, it's a great display and as a lifelong Mac users, I'm very happy with it.
I bought this monitor for graphic design work and right away, realized it was overkill --- larger than I needed. (I will need to buy a separate stand/mount as this monitor fills most of my desk and should be further back than it is now for optimal viewing.) However, once I got a taste of video content on this new monitor, I am having trouble focusing on my work --- the videos look great --- I absolutely love this monitor! Vivid colors, sharp, clear images --- incredible value for the price!!! Because of this, I will consider other LG products as I have been thinking about getting a new TV for a while. I'm not well versed in the technical specs, but I do design graphics for a living, and I can say that this monitor will definitely satisfy (if you are a gamer and looking for video graphics performance, I can't speak to that --- I only create static graphics). The drawbacks I can think of are sound (you will need external speakers) and I am not crazy about the stand that it comes with (lacks tilt). My desk is an antique and not deep, so the monitor is not a great fit for my desk, I will need to figure out a different setup, eventually. Also, my previous monitors were not matte, and looked a little better when they weren't powered ON --- inconsequential, but I may as well mention that unless you want matte screen finish, be sure to dig into the specs. Other than that, I would buy this product again and again, and at this price point, recommend it to anyone in the market for a monitor upgrade.
Worked great for a year and a half. The LCD screen cracked on its own. I know for a fact that I haven't damaged it, I take care of my things.I contacted LG Canada and they only offered 10% off my next purchase...Yes, I love spending money, I want to get another LG product that will break right after the Warranty is up. Just so I can give them more money. If you stand behind a good product, maybe add a longer warranty, other monitor making companies do it.
