LG 32SR50F-W 32" FHD IPS Smart Monitor With webOS 23

Used to wirelessly duplicate computer screen in neighbouring room.Works very well, no noticeable lag.Better than using a Miracast dongle, which had very noticeable lag.Using a Google TV dongle also resulted in very noticeable lag.Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo used to control computer in the other room (also works with no noticeable lag).Not a fan of the LG Web OS system. Have it on an LG TV and rarely use it. But this device was not purchased for that purpose and works extremely well for the purpose it was bought for.IF you pair a bluetooth keyboard/mouse to this device, the web browser is reasonably functional. As we use it, we just use the web browser on the desktop in the other room.

Disappointing product and service.

It’s a pretty monitor, but it’s falsely advertised for some of its features. I ordered it because I work with art and the wide colour gamut and ips panel were attractive features. I found, despite adjusting screen settings, artworks were displaying colours brighter in adobe on the monitor than they really are in the exported file.I enjoy the tv functionality, but the integrated webcams does not work with any connected devices. I’ve tried connecting through both hdmi and usb-c but no device will recognise the webcam. The webcam works, because you can open it on the monitor in settings, but it doesn’t actually serve any function other than decoration. So yes, it is a falsely advertised product. I’m still waiting on a response from tech support even now months later, after they asked for ‘proof’ that I couldn’t find the webcam on my windows computer, or in apps like discord.Additionally, after several months now, I’ve noticed the dashboard has begun to slow down. Sometimes I open an app like stan and it opens another app instead.It’s ridiculous that a monitor at this price points is so dysfunctional. It’s wrongfully advertised, and had I known I would have had this experience I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Fills a specific need

Quality monitor for the price. The included remote and smart home setup work well and are intuitive. I use this as a 3rd monitor while working from home. Its nice to be able to use smart features to use streaming video aps to have on in the background and can then switch to a 3rd monitor when needed. The one small negative I have it the matte screen. Dont get me wrong, it looks fine and is what most people are used to for a PC monitor. When watching movies and shows it does take some getting used to with most screens being glossy. All things considered it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size and smart feaures. This monitor is great 4k IPS display but sadly, this monitor does not come with the matching white LG Webcam that magnetically sticks to the back of the monitor, which goes well with the looks like LG's 32SR85U. It does have the golden pin connections at the back but LG do not sell its matching webcam on its website. Even LG's spare parts in australia does not have that webcam. Rest if you are not worried about the matching webcam, this monitor is great, amazing pic quality and lots of connections. 2nd issue i got it does not have line out for audio, so the only audio out from monitor is either its own built in speakers or bluetooth speakers. Great Connections

I bought this as a replacement for a TV because it had WiFi and Bluetooth. The picture is very vibrant with quality detail and color. I've had quite a few LG Electronics' products. My last being a 4K TV which was a great buy. When I saw this monitor had the WebOS built in, I knew I had to get it. The sound quality from the built-in speakers are very good. I'm very happy with this Monitor. It has HDMI and USB ports that are very convenient.

Your best last monitor

This is the best monitor I’ve owned - and it just might be the last I will ever own. I am using the smart monitor for personal use, and I’m not disappointed. The speed , the picture, the convenience - all qualities that hands down, can’t be beat! The monitor is extremely easy to set up, and also doubles as a small 4k television. In addition, the price point can fit any budget. One of my favorite features is the Airplay 2 with screen share. All around great choice for a 4k smart monitor.

the tv is riddled with issues, for example,- there is no option for bluetooth sound sync, so bluetooth soundbars are always delayed when using HDMI. there is also no aux so you can’t use soundbars that don’t support HDMI arc wired???- the os is so slow it makes you want to launch the remote at the tv. something as simple as changing the display mode takes way longer than it should. There is also no remote button for smart home accessories and getting to them takes a while, and is very unresponsive.- The remote is not bluetooth which is fine but you have to directly aim at the tv receiver to actually use the remote. Very annoying- The ThinQ app never works it just says connecting or failed to connect and when it does, is laggy and slow.
