(I don't think it's as crisp as the MacBook, but could be because I've stared at it too long.) For reference, the graphics card on the laptop is Intel Iris Xe Graphics, the laptop resolution when used alone was 1920 x 1080, and the advanced display settings state the active signal resolution for the monitor is 3840 x 2160. Not sure why this took so long to fix, but was a bit painful compared to connecting the MacBook.

Great entry level 1080p wide screen panel! This display is plenty bright ( my results were a little over 400 nits) supports HDR, AMD Sync, which I appreciate when gaming or watching full videos. Split screen multi-tasking is a breeze on this display, there's plenty of screen real estate. Keep in mind that most content is recorded in 16:9 aspect ratio ( wide screen= 21:9) so youtube videos will be cropped, however there is a chrome extension for that. The display does wobble on the stand a bit when pushed, but not a deal breaker. The interface is controlled with one button so if that breaks, tough luck; So far, so good!

It's super easy to set up and works like a charm. I work from home full-time as a paralegal and it's great for reviewing documents while looking at Slack and having other items open. It's not amazing quality with the screen, but it is better than any standard monitor I've been given at an office. Listen, that's not what you're paying for here. You're paying for screen space (which is GREAT) and the easy hook-up, along with the quick speed it reacts to your mouse, etc. It has what seems like a faster response time than my laptop to my wireless mouse and keyboard and is a fantastic addition. I was debating two separate screens, but really happy I got this one. For the price, it's a killer deal. Highly recommend for any WFH professionals that need a clean setup.

There is a lot of conflicting information floating around out there about this monitor. Even here, in the questions section of this product you will see multiple conflicting answers regarding the mounting options available for this monitor. Understand that regardless of whatever information you see on another website, or even this website, the 34 inch variant of this monitor IS NOT VESA COMPATIBLE. When you open the box, the first instruction is a big picture indicating to not use any type of mounting screws on the monitor, as it will damage the monitor. Why they could not list that here on the website, or anywhere on the box is beyond me, but this review is here to save you some time.
This is a nice monitor and affordable without sacrificing quality. The picture looks very nice and the 100hz refresh rate is super smooth and responsive. I tested both the hdmi and display port and got 100hz with both inputs. One thing I’ve noticed is that if I try to use both ports at the same time it does not detect the device that’s plugged into the display port. Not sure if thats an issue with the adapter I purchased or the monitor itself. The specifications do not indicate if this is compatible with MacOS, I’m using this monitor with a 2020 M1 Mac Mini just fine. Got it Open-Box for $269.99 so hard to beat for an ultra-wide monitor.

I don’t get why you would even make an ultra wide monitor with 1080 definition. The picture quality is terrible, edges are pixilated, and I get a headache after staring for a few minutes. How did this monitor ever pass quality control?Why would you make a low def ultra wide monitor when you know the quality would be terrible? The techs at Best Buy laughed when I brought it in because I thought I got a faulty monitor. But no just a faulty design.I returned it immediately and will not buy LG again.
I went from 2 average 27” monitors to this and I have mixed feelings. On one hand it looks cleaner and there’s no gap in the middle but there is a real estate sacrifice. My old monitors were 1440p so you lose a lot top to bottom. I also see the value of a curved screen but not for the edges as you would expect. If you open 2 windows side by side the screen almost appears to be convex which is a weird sensation. It really makes you reconsider how you lay out your windows. Everything else about the monitor is average to above average.
I got this on sale for 279.99 and it is definitely worth it. I started a job working from home and they provided us with a regular 24inch monitor and it was too smal for all the applications we use. This one allows me to have double the amount of windows open or to at least have them very big. I really enjoy the wide aspect ratio it fit great on my desk. I wish they had and even bigger model! Lol. Easy set up I just used my display port and ready to go. Hoping to try it for gaming soon lol. Don’t expect some super high quality display its a good display and worth the price.
