Decent screen, unfortunately it has nothing but issues when using HDMI.Tried multiple cables, multiple devices, on all it either stays black entirely or flashes black then back on while using.Seems to be isolated to HDMI, using display port is works, still unacceptable after spending a couple hundred dollars on a screen.Based on searches online this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue.My other 29" LG ultra wide was great, disappointed with this upgrade.

I've had this monitor for a month and am very happy with it. I switched from a dual screen setup (two 27" monitors) to this wide screen one, and I actually prefer this so much more. I am a developer, and with my IDE, I usually have a lot of custom panes setup as well as multiple files open. Being able to fit everything onto one screen has been great, because even when I used to have two smaller screens, the second screen didn't really help that much if I was just working in a single program (since a program can't "stretch" across both smaller screens). The other thing is that because of how wide it is, two programs can easily be opened side by side without looking cramped, so I don't feel like I've lost any productivity at all even moving from my previous dual ... Luckily, I have solved this by mounting it on a monitor arm, but for anyone else considering this monitor who does not already have a desk, I'd definitely recommend a desk with more depth for ergonomic purposes.

Love the size of this monitor! I needed an external monitor for work purposes at home as soon as possible so I proceeded with the purchase. Upon using it, I wished there were at least 2 HDMI ports and a higher brightness display increase. It was quite a challenge to figure out what cables are compatible with the only 2 ports the monitor has that will connect my Macbook and an older iMac. I find it too dark for playing videos and the video sometimes lag if the window is opened on this monitor. An internal speaker would've been nice. I don't mind purchasing an external speaker but I couldn't find anything that looks nice and slim to my liking that supports the only aux input the monitor has. EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED AND WANTED! I made a excellent choice selecting this. Its making my work day so much easier. Its bright, crisp clear display is amazing. I can see and read everything on the screen perfectly. If your looking for a new monitor. GRAB THIS!!! You will not regret it. The width is perfect for side by side documents. I seriously cant say enough about this.
It's super easy to set up and works like a charm. I work from home full-time as a paralegal and it's great for reviewing documents while looking at Slack and having other items open. It's not amazing quality with the screen, but it is better than any standard monitor I've been given at an office. Listen, that's not what you're paying for here. You're paying for screen space (which is GREAT) and the easy hook-up, along with the quick speed it reacts to your mouse, etc. It has what seems like a faster response time than my laptop to my wireless mouse and keyboard and is a fantastic addition. I was debating two separate screens, but really happy I got this one. For the price, it's a killer deal. Highly recommend for any WFH professionals that need a clean setup.
I purchased the widescreen because I am working from home more often and needed a monitor to connect to my laptop. I work with dual screens at the office but thought I’d prefer a single widescreen monitor. It’s so much better! I also work with very long, data-filled Excel spreadsheets and the widescreen has made my work easier in that regard. No speaker, so I’ll need to pick up an external speaker; that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I’m not a gamer so I gave no opinion to offer there. My desk isn’t very deep so I was concerned that there might be an issue with space but it hasn’t been a problem at all. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend.
Functionality wise its great and does what you need it to but in 2024 a 1080p ultrawide shouldnt exist. Wish I could give a zero. This was a store return I bought as a gift. When we opened it and hooked it up it didn't work (the display looked like someone smashed or broke it internally). So I went to return it and discovered the return period had passed because they only give you 15 days on store returns (I was 2 days late). I called and they refused to make an exception. Beware of store returns that say there were inspected and are in "Excellent" condition. They just tape up the box and resell it even if it doesn't work. Hopefully my credit card company will reverse the charges for this sham. Never again BestBuy.
This comes exactly as advertised. The setup was seamless and fully compatible with my existing Dell docking station. I love having the ability to place multiple windows next to each other without needing to switch between screens. I also kept my 2 existing monitors and rotated them into a vertical position, placing one on either side of the large monitor. This allows for ample workspace, especially when needing to share applications during a meeting.
