Bought this around sept 2020 and it blew up April 2021. Lost a lot of food. What makes it worse it happened on a public holiday, trying to source a new fridge to get by makes it bloody hard.Surely these things can last longer than 8 months. Pretty dissapointed.. now got the rigmarole of getting it fixed or a new one.

The fridge appearance , styling etc is very good. However I have one issue and LG did try to fix it by sending a service technician who tried his best to fix it but it is not fixed. The door in door does not close flush. The top is flush with the adjacent door but the bottom protrudes out at least 6 mm more . This may not be detrimental to its operation but does not optically give a good appearance.

After carful review and many trips to Harvey Norman to inspect a variety of models and brands I am glad to have purchased this fridge. Hands down the best fridge I have owned to date. It was an upgrade from my old LG that is still going strong just needed something more modern. Veggies don't freeze milks cold heaps of room and the crushed ice feature is fantastic. What more could you want. Also the cash back was an added bonus.

We as a family love our "Knock knock fridge" The door in door is absolutely fabulous. I dont think i could ever go back to a "normal" fridge again after this. We have always had double door, ice and water fridge freezers. But not like this beauty. Plenty of room in the door in door for dozens of cans of cool drinks, bottles of milk and water bottles etc. Friends that come over have a big giggle about the knock knock aspect of it to turn the light on without even having to open the door up, to view what drink to have without having all the cold air come out while u would normally stand there chosing with a normal fridge.Plenty of space inside the fridge and freezer also.The only little complaint which isnt bad really is we think under the water spout there should ... MoreWe as a family love our "Knock knock fridge" The door in door is absolutely fabulous. As it is there is only a ledge, which will catch a few drips but not anymore, then it has nowhere else to go apart from down the door onto the floor. Doesnt happen often thankfully. But it could be avoided with a simple drain and pullout tray under it.Other than the drain everything else is amazing
I’m in love with this fridge. Got a bit worried when we first connected it, the water dispenser kept on running a bit after the lever was released, however a quick phone call to Lg assured us that this was normal for the first 2 litres or so to run through. Love the size and set up within the fridge, gives you plenty of storage. Would be nice if a alarm went off when you leave the door in door open not only the main doors but this is a minor issue.
All work good. Really nice design. The only thing is that the little door need some forse to be closed, and if not closed completely do not trigger a signal. Otherwise great fridge
Door in door fridge is the luxurious look and comfortable use. Perfect fit in our small kitchen even tho it has 2doors. I love how I can organise my freezer which was a pain before stacking everything on top. The door in door fridge is a dream, love how we can access drinks and sauces separately and quickly. The kids learned how to use the water and it makes so much ice. Loving it! Worth it for sure
We only bought this fridge yesterday to replace our previous LG fridge/freezer, which still worked a treat but had design flaws so we have to keep buying spares, which are now hard to get. I am totally in love with this unit as it does have several features that the last one didn't have. I prefer the four bottle wine rack to the wine drawer we had previously. The crisper drawers are much better than the ones on the last fridge (which I had to keep replacing).The door-in-door feature is not just practical but it gives the fridge huge visual appeal. Everything in both the fridge and freezer are so easy to see. I do like the shelves in the freezer. Before we had to pile items on top of each other in the freezer, which made the freezer less user friendly. Our 18 year old LG fridge had seen better days,Although still going strong we were ready for an upgrade…The side by side Insta view fridge is the epitome of style,I adore it’s matte black finish and sleek profile…Like a beacon shining in the night,A simple knock turns on the in-door light…The pure and fresh filter is second to none,And the space it offers can’t be outdone!The ThinQ app is a handy hack..But by far my fave feature is the 4 bottle wine rack!!
Wow, very happy with our l.g. fridge/freezer, love having the door in door so we are not letting out all the cold when getting frequently used items. Ice maker and moters are also nice and quiet, while giving us all we need. Plenty of space for all our f/f foods. Excellent buy.
