I mean yes, everyone loves extra large screens but there is a difference between screens and reality and this TV let’s you actually feel no difference. The beautiful large screen displays crisp HD quality, the body of the entire television is stunningly black and surprisingly robust. Alongside of beautiful body and high quality of display, the controls are even better. The controls on the remote has separate buttons for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and so much more. Moreover, the Smart control has easy access to all the options. The centre button is a rotating one which makes scrolling so much easier. The overall controls are actually Smart and makes you wonder how perfectly it fulfil your needs and wants as you surf through. It’s quite refreshing to hear actually amazing sound throughout your whole experience. As per my experience of the 65QNED816QA I’m quite satisfied by the price. You’re not just getting a TV but a whole experience with it. It’s worth every penny in my opinion. A high quality cenima experience at home is needed for those who work so hard to achieve their dreams and for anyone who wants to enjoy their relaxing time at home.

I've had the 55QNED816 for about 3 weeks now and I've been really pleased with it. I mounted the TV using my existing wall bracket rather than the included stand. It was easy to do and it came with cable tidy clips that were a nice addition to ensure the cables were all out of sight. It took a little while to set up, I had difficulty connecting the TV to the app, it was user error in the end because I'd wired it directly to my virgin modem but use a mesh WiFi system so the TV and app thought they were on different networks. Once I'd sorted that, it was a short wait for the software to update and for the TV to tune in all the digital channels. The TV is very easy to use. I thought the streaming shortcut buttons were a bit unnecessary but they turned out to be very handy! Navigation is easy, either by button or with the pointer. I don't get on with the voice control, because I have pass codes on my streaming services, it can't search them so it's useless in that sense. I also haven't managed to get Alexa to work, either on the TV or by using the echo to control it, not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's not a big loss and doesn't warrant dropping a star on the review. I don't have any external sound system set up, just the TVs inbuilt sound and it is brilliant! We were all astounded but the sound quality compared to our old TV, likewise, the picture is excellent and clear enough for writing to be easily legible across the room. Speed wise, the TV responds quickly, no waiting for things to load and, so far, I haven't encountered any bugs in the software. Overall, I highly recommend this TV, it's everything I could need and more.

Summary: The 4k LG 75QNED816QA offers an impressive clarity, contrast, and vibrancy. The OS is functional and intuitive & the overall TV design is slim and appealing! Packaging: LG has started packing in minimal, effortless packaging, nearly everything is recyclable at home (apart from the styrofoam) which is a great effort from LG. Once you open at key points, the entire box just lifts off over the top of the TV. Setup: Initial setup was a breeze, the TV is no lightweight (weighing almost 40kgs!) and will require more than one person to put together on the stand. The initial setup on the LG OS was quite decent, if you have an LG smart app, it was fairly easy to connect the TV to it and enable a lot of smart features. Screen/Sound: The TV is LG's QNED tech, this image technique combines quantum dots with LG's own NanoCell screens. This way, you can see images with a rich color representation and high brightness. The TV does deliver well, images are vibrant, bright, and very clear. The overall sound is decent though, you would ideally pair it with a sound system. Smart Features: The TV has a number of smart features, you can control the TV from the LG app which functions as a virtual remote, and you can use Alexa/Google to do things like change the volume, mute, and even turn it off. Although I couldn't get Alexa/Google to start the TV from standby, I could from the LG app. Overall an impressive TV. My only issue is you really can't find the LG slim wall mount designed for LG's QNED TV anywhere in the UK (although you can in the US)

We got this TV to replace our dying 60" LG plasma. It was an excellent TV that served us well for many years, we even repaired it once and probably could have again. Our old TV was going black screen making us turn it off and on repeatedly. When we got the new TV and there was black screens in the middle of scenes, I had mini panic attacks that the screen had turned off! That's how good the black levels are! I had very little interest in the WebOs operating system and fully expected to ignore it in favour of my own media streamers but I'm actually finding myself using the built in apps fairly often. I had very little interest in the WebOs operating system and fully expected to ignore it in favour of my own media streamers but I'm actually finding myself using the built in apps fairly often. They run smooth and have frequent updates. Two of my favourite features are the "Enjoy TV Sound Together" and "Multi-view" The Enjoy TV Sound Together is an accessibility feature for Deaf and Hard Of Hearing users to connect with Bluetooth headphones or hearing aids and set their own volume. GAME CHANGER! I have kludged solutions together for years in order to connect my hearing aids while still allowing my hearing family to listen at a reasonable volume. Those solutions always had lag but this one doesn't. I'm sold on this TV from this feature alone. The other feature I covet is the Multi-View which is picture in picture or side by side of two things. Sadly you're not able to do two HDMI inputs at the same time but you are able to do HDMI/live TV and screen share, airplay, YouTube, Spotify, or camera. My favourite is to have my show from my Chromecast on one while having my kids watching TV on the other. You can only select one sound input but my receiver captures it before the TV so the kids get those speakers and I get Bluetooth You can also browse a webpage and then spilt screen by selecting "TV view". This doesn't allow video to play on a webpage at the same time but it's still a neat feature. My SO has been enjoying streaming his videogames from his PC with the GeForce Now app or plugging in his steam deck. The TV also has Miracast capabilities but unfortunately Pixel phones don't have the capability to mirror screens with it but most computers do as well as some tablets. My son thought it was neat to mirror his Samsung tablet. As far as the picture quality goes, we have no complaints, with minor tweaking we were able to get a super clear picture as well as have a daylight and a night mode. 4k nature shows have never looked so vivid and real. The sound quality seems okay for built in speakers, we used the optical to connect our surround system.
I have been using my 55 Inch QNED816QA TV daily for a month now, and I have been very impressed overall. Set Up: The set up process was simple. The LG Web OS interface is easy enough to navigate and has access to Netflix, Disney+ and all of the other usual apps you’d expect to see. Image Quality: This was my first experience of 4K, and also the biggest device I have experienced at 55 inches, after coming from a 43 Inch FHD television. The difference is incredible. On standard settings the image is clear and sharp, and the AI optimisation only enhances this depending on what type of program you are watching. Gaming: I have tested the television to its limits with PS5 4K gaming. Sports, FPS and RPG games all look beautiful on the clear screen. Gaming: I have tested the television to its limits with PS5 4K gaming. Sports, FPS and RPG games all look beautiful on the clear screen. The Game Optimiser automatically selects the ideal settings depending on the game being played, which works well for the most part, although it does seem to oversaturate the colours on sports mode! I was excited to try the 4K 120Hz capabilities, but there seem to be very few games available that can offer the combination of both. I’m still on the lookout and will test this hopefully soon. Conclusion I can recommend this television for anyone looking for a tv that is easy to use, with top image quality, responsiveness and some fantastic features.
I have had around 3 weeks to familiarise myself with this TV and its many settings & functions. This TV has replaced a 55” 4Ksmart TV that is about 3 years old. Set up. The first thing I noticed when unpacking the TV was that there was no instructional manual other than for the stand assembly, not even a quick start guide. I decided to wall mount the TV and so had no need of the stand. I have connected the TV to a Virgin Media 4K Tivo box, a 4k Amazon fire stick, a JBL sound bar and hard wired it to the internet via ethernet cable (not supplied). I switched on the TV and followed the on-screen instructions. Set up was simple and straight forward. The TV recognised all the attached peripheral’s, allowing me to control each of the devices with the TV’s remote control. ... MoreI have had around 3 weeks to familiarise myself with this TV and its many settings & functions. I switched on the TV and followed the on-screen instructions. Set up was simple and straight forward. The TV recognised all the attached peripheral’s, allowing me to control each of the devices with the TV’s remote control. I turned to a Netflix 4K broadcast to checkout the picture and sound quality. The picture quality is glorious. The previous TV pales in comparison, and this has a larger screen. There are 9 pre-set picture modes to choose from. The choice is a combination of your own preferences and the type of show you are watching. In film maker mode the picture displays as the film maker intended apparently. You can, of course, customise the picture settings to suit yourself. The sound is crisp and clear with 7 pre-set sound modes to choose from when using the TV speakers for sound output. These modes are however not supported when using an external speaker such as a sound bar for output. The TV remote has buttons for accessing Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Rakuten TV, Google assistant and alexa. Other apps can be added, such as Discovery+ if they are compatible with the TV. The remote control has a built-in air mouse which is useful for navigating the menus and features. The remote control has a built-in microphone so that you can also use voice commands to navigate. I found this worked very well to start with but not so well after the 3rd automatic software update and now takes a little longer to recognise the command and sometimes not at all. On my previous 4K TV I was unable to watch BT sport Ultimate. Although the picture was fine the sound was corrupted making it sound like chipmunks talking. I always put this down to the Virgin TV box but since changing to this TV I am now able to watch BT Sport ultimate in all its glory. I have awarded the TV 4 stars overall as I can’t award half a star, and nothing gets 5 stars unless it completely blows me away. Overall, I am very happy with it and can happily recommend it to others.
This LG QNED TV is absolutely outstanding. The first thing I want to say is that putting this together is pretty straightforward and simple to do. After that it was time to test it out. The TV has a brilliant picture quality, you can notice this very quickly. I like the ease of setting up all the apps and WiFi, very easy to follow and login to apps. The remote is brilliant and I like the pointer sensor on it which makes changing apps simple and quick. The TV remote also controls our Amazon fire stick and Sky which I like. Once I tried out the different picture modes I could instantly see the difference from my old TV with no 4K picture. The picture is clear and sharp. Although the LG QNED doesn't use Dolby, it's own sound settings are out of this world. The ThinQ AI really makes this TV stand out, the auto adjustment for sound is impressive and can really make some sounds stand out. On the Xbox Series X console the frame rate at 120HZ is impressive, with very little lag in picture quality and speed. The use off the apps and the screen share is impressive with a ton of apps to use. This LG tv has changed the way I game with the sheer brilliance and quality of the picture and sound combination. This was my main reason for purchasing this TV and I can hand on heart say its the best TV I have ever had and 100% recommend it to anyone. Picture can't do the quality justice or the difference in sound when gaming or watching a film. The dark room adjustment is quick and helpful should you want to watch a film in the dark, without hurting your eyes. Another simple but brilliant thing was the way you could change your menu colour from purple to green or orange. Just helps personalise this TV. There is so many more things I'd like to describe, but the main points are if your looking for a gaming optimised TV then look no further as this is the one for you. Even if its just films to watch, again this is the one for you.

To be honest I don’t really like the remote yet but this could just be me getting used to it. I spent a bit of time going through all the different screen quality section and the different audio options, just take your time and see which one suits you best. I judge a tv on how well they play live food ball and a nature program and this tv is excellent at both. The energy consumption rating isn’t good but for a tv if this quality and size I wasn’t expecting it to be. The sound quality is great even at lower levels and there is a Bluetooth option to allow you to connnect your speakers easy if you would like a m Ore dynamic sound experience. Overall I’m very impressed with this tv and would recommend it to a friend. The RRP is a bit high but hopefully, this will be reviewed and comes down to make this a more affordable option for more people.
What's in the box? Fitting for opening a TV review to quote a movie line, It was surprising how big the box was when it first arrived. The LG company is a one I have seen regularly and used products from time to time but when looking for a new TV which coincidentally I was when I saw the campaign open up. I had already been searching for different models and brands but LG was always coming up on top with reviews and recommendations. I have extended family whose last purchase was an LG of similar size so I was expecting good things but I could tell by opening the box that this TV had something special about it. So I'm going from my first day impressions, setting up and trying a few apps so let's get to it. My partner and I took great care in removing all of the ... MoreWhat's in the box? I have extended family whose last purchase was an LG of similar size so I was expecting good things but I could tell by opening the box that this TV had something special about it. So I'm going from my first day impressions, setting up and trying a few apps so let's get to it. My partner and I took great care in removing all of the packaging showing just how well it was kept during transport, first putting together the stand and mounting the TV together following the instructions which was very easy, I can't deny we were a little uneasy when we first stood the TV up, it was seemed a bit on the "wobbly" side like the stand couldn't hold the weight of the TV itself at first but once we had found the best position, it held strong and seemed to settle into place it's definitely the main feature in our living room now, We want to try and mount the TV on the wall when we find the best mount for our needs but I will update you all on that quest when we take it. Style and substance is what I found when the TV was up. The small bevel around the TV is barely noticeable especially when the screen is on, the quality of the picture just envelopes you into whatever you are watching. We had a few teething problems when setting up. We had the application setting freeze for a second or two, trying to go in and out of applications too fast was to blame. My partner was not keen on the magic remote control function but I felt a little like Harry Potter trying out his new wand, on the other hand she was extremely happy with the option to enable the "AI Picture Pro & AI sound" setting that we were given when first setting up the TV she noticed straight away how crisp it made the quality of the image and how cinematic it made the sound quality. I guess the best way to review the software and applications will be to play around for a while so stay tuned for part 2 of my review.
So I went big and bold with the 75" QNED TV for my brand new 1st time home. It is my first LG product and I was excited to experience it. The TV, as I expected was huge, but once assembled and set it up, the 75" screen fitted in perfectly on my wall. Becoming a real focal point and centre piece of the living room. Firstly the TV itself is incredibly sleek, slim and extremely elegant. The included stand has a great look and everything has a real top build quality about it. Even before the TV is turned on I was super impressed. Turning the TV on and experiencing the initial first time set up was straight forward and intuitive. Easily being able to set up everything that was required such as external devices that were being plugged into the TV. The picture quality and sound is absolutely second to none and every time I use the TV, it really is a visual spectacle, and at 75" really quite mind blowing, as the 4k 120hz provides a seamless, smooth, cinema feel when watching films and TV Series. The picture is crystal clear, sharp with superb brightness and clarity with impeccable colour accuracy as well. The specs of this TV also make gaming a joy, the huge screen making me feel completely immersed in the games' environments and the 4K detail is so noticeable having upgraded from just Full HD previously. All the HDMI 2.1 Ports provide everything I need and they all work flawlessly. I have also so far, thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Web OS, and the layout of it has impressed me, being able to simply access and switch between all my smart TV applications. Friends and family have all been blown away when they have come round to see the TV and due to it's size it means that people are able to enjoy and see the TV from all distances and viewing angles which is great. I was a little anxious that 75" may feel too big and overwhelming initially when I opted for this size, but I couldn't be happier that I made this decision as this TV is everything I hoped it would be and more. First experience with LG has been fantastic!
