Hate it. I bought a LG Smart tv in 2015 and it died this year. It was SMART! And by that I mean it was easy to navigate and very easy for a new beginner to a SMART tv. I could download apps easily whereas this smart tv is convoluted, difficult to understand, too many apps they try to entice you to join, and adverts to what ia streaming, apps you could purchase and it is just a tv commercial station. It's simplicity has been sold out. And because Smart TV's are programmed for so many things, their years are numbered, 4-7 years apparently so I was luck with 6+ years. So, I can see this will last a couple. Oh! And the home dashboard does not help you download the ABC iview or SBS Demand. I have to go to search then link into the web. I don't have great techno skills and that is why I bought another LG SmartTv. Then they told me a technician would contact me in two days. That was over a week ago. Whilst, this tv does have a fabulously clear picture. and the sound is good I would not recommend it. It should be easy to navigate and it is not.

Great picture, love all the apps! Think it was only unable to have crunchyroll. Has 3 Hdmi ports with easy access from side. Has a setting that allows every show/game to automatically edit visual settings to what was preferred by director of that production. Has a mouse that moves with remote.Really love it feels like such an upgrade from my prior 6yr old TV ❤️

My recent purchase of the LG 86” TV has been one of my best purchases yet. Fantastic TV with bright and vibrant colours. Fantastic sound. Very easy to install and set-up the TV as well.I have purchased LG products (TV, Surround Sound System) previously and find them very reliable and reasonably priced.

This TV is massive. 86" is the perfect size for where we wanted it. The picture quality is fantastic. LG software is fast and snappy response. Easy to use home screen and setup. Highly recommended. Got this on sale at almost half price to full RRP, amazing deal thanks to the super friendly staff at JB. Delivery for a TV of this size is a must.
Overall happy with the tv and size is huge obviously but just right for our living area. Very impressed with the features, interface and remote. Only think was bit disappointed is about the backlight as it’s uneven across the screen and it has knock on effect on the picture when the room is so bright when all the blinds are open and there’s a direct lighting on the tv screen
I have had this TV for a couple of days and so far I am very happy with it. It is a great quality TV with great sound. It doesn't sound tinny like some of the cheaper TV's. The remote is cool. You can use it to point and click (much like the Wii) or you can use the buttons to go through the menus. You can also link the TV to your smart phone and use your smart phone as a remote. It is missing a pause button on the remote, I think if you click back it will pause it for you. As I've only had it a couple of days, some things I'm still learning to use. Its menu system is easy to operate and install apps. Set up was pretty straight forward. Picture is clear with great colours.
Before purchase we read reviews on LG after owning Panasonic and Sony over the years. All really good reviews. In store we were recommended the LG 86inch for our needs. Our lounge area is quite large and really impressed with picture quality of such a big screen. Wouldn’t recommend for small room. Price seemed very reasonable for the quality of TV.
Seems a good TV. I haven't had one for years so I did some research that showed LG was one of the best brands. i don't have any complaints except perhaps the interface took some working out because I've never had a smart TV before. The remote is fine for me although it's a frequent complaint by other reviewers.
I am mostly very happy with this television, the picture is very good and the sound quality is generally acceptable. It is definitely good value for money. There are a couple of things I would change. For a start I would like to be able to remove or reallocate the buttons for Netflix, Prime, Disney etc. I don't use any of these services.I am not too happy with the lack of controls when viewing anything on an external hard drive or thumb drive. The buttons for the services listed above could (should?) be made to control such things as pause, fast forward, rewind etc. There is also a problem with recordings on thumb drives where the video keeps stopping and starting, as if the transfer rate is too slow for the recordings to run normally.Anyone not using external ... MoreI am mostly very happy with this television, the picture is very good and the sound quality is generally acceptable. Bought recently, lots of uneven light bleeding from edges when black on the screen (one corner particularly more than others) wasn't sure if I should call support of if this is just "how it is" in the given leniency/tolerance. Also, Home screen and accessing channels is not intuitive. However, with some teething issues aside it seems reasonable value for a brand like LG
