I bought my first LG laptop this year, mainly because for a 17 screen, I couldn't get over how light it was at 2.9 Lbs. I tried it on Mac. Found out that auto-rotating doesnt work on Mac which was not really written anywhere. I tried it on two different Windows machines. They didnt recognize the monitor.Software is mentioned in the manual but it is actually not avilable on the given websiteOther than that, it is good

I absolutely love this portable monitor! I'm able to use it on my home and work computer with no issues. The display, brightness and colors are awesome and I could not have asked for a better picture quality. However, in the next version, I highly recommend that LG adds an HDMI slot so users can display their iPhone content, a headphone jack for speakers/headphones and finally, a better protective cover. I love the fact that the device is lightweight but adding these few extra features would make this monitor so much more appealing to a larger consumer base.

This monitor only works if I plug directly into my laptop's USB-C port. Meaning, I can't also charge the laptop because the charger or dongle needs to be in that C port.I tried an HDMI adapter to connect the monitor via the laptop's dongle. Doesn't work.I contacted LG's customer service and all they did was confirm that the monitor needs to be plugged directly into the laptop.Great if I have infinite battery life and don't need to plug in anything else; e.g. a microphone or webcam.I'm returning this monitor.
Everything about this feels very flimsy and cheap. The absolute worst part is the folio cover, which simply does not stay attached at all. It's definitely not going to do its job protecting anything. I have to keep masking tape on hand to tape it to the screen or it just falls right off. Take note the cover isn't even the width of the monitor like it was on the 16MQ70. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in this. I'm thinking of returning it even before turning it on. What a shame.
This monitor is great for using at home and while traveling. Amazingly light weight and thin. I have this paired with a 16” MacBookPro and the brightness rivals the native MacBook screen brightness.I will say if you are using this with an Apple laptop you watch a few videos and pick some software to fix the blurriness. The blurriness is no fault of this monitor but instead of how Apple handles different resolutions with external monitors.I would recommend this external ans may pick up a second.
I ordered this new, directly from LG.com. It arrived in a timely fashion. The product looked and felt nice. I plugged it into a MacBook Pro, and had a great second screen for about 10 seconds. The image then became a blur of colors, and went black with colored lines. I used different ports, different USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 cables, as well as different laptops, both Windows and Mac based. It never would work. I spent well over an hour with service and was offered to return it eventually, but never have received the return label. I have contacted multiple times with no assistance.
Quite simply a superb quality screen, excellent viewing angles, colour and resolution. Incredibly lightweight and cover come stand works well all great for portability.Connected it directly to my Mac Mini M2 pro and worked beautifully first time easily organising the display arrangement with multiple screens in settings.Great price vs previous gram view and reasonably fast delivery.

I'm used to working with a dual-monitor setup, so I always felt stifled when having to work remotely with only a laptop screen. Then I saw someone with a portable second monitor and knew I'd found my solution. This monitor has a good resolution (2560x1600), adjustable brightness (although the responsiveness is a little slow), and USB-C ports on both sides so you can easily put the monitor wherever you want. It comes with a protective cover that doubles as a stand, although you have to figure out where the hidden magnets are through trial and error since there are no instructions. It also stacks neatly on top of a 16" laptop, making it easy to carry around.
