Great features. My last LG lasted 16 years. Only the ice maker failed on it but fridge still runs perfectly. I was worried the door in door would lose us room but the shelves are extra big, absolutely using and loving this feature. Only negative is the finish, it scratches incredibly easy. I wiped finger prints off with a nw microfiber cloth after install which left a row of light scratches. Ive noticed more scratches since then which is disappointing for a two week old fridge. My old fridge and LG dishwasher dont scratch. Good Guys service & delivery were 5 star!

What we like about this fridge We decided to purchase this fridge based on it ice making facility, and location of same. Our last fridge had the ice access external on the door which we liked. Easy to get without opening the door. We also, like the ice balls function as it keeps water cooler for longer. Fast ice production is good, although the ice dispenser does tend to throw ice in all directions so you have to make sure you’ve got a suitable container to collect it - it will not go straight into your glass. The craft ice is a nice touch. I love the deep door on the fridge to fit multiple 3L milk cartons or juice with room for more, plus easy access to high-use items through the ‘little-door’. We have found the smaller door does sometimes build up condensation, which suggest sometimes it’s not sealing properly. It has really good sized drawers for fresh produce and a decent sized freezer with easy to access everything. This fridge is brilliant. Lots of room and convenient for my elderly mum that have arthritis in her hands and can't open drawers or doors easily. I love the fact that the ice cubes making don't require plumbing, and that I can add my own filtered water, really a great option, especially when you are renting houses. When the ice cubes are made, it makes a little noise but overall it is a very quiet fridge. And the settings to freshen up your groceries in one button works so well. And it really doesn't use much electricity compare to the new modern once with fancy doors that are see through and where you can open just the drink department.. And it really looks amazing in our kitchen! Best fridge I have owned so far.

I also really like that the ice maker doesn't really interfere with your freezer space nor compromise too much capacity. Meanwhile, I hope LG will improve future models of this fridge with better insulation or a quieter pump.
Bought to replace a dead fridge without much enthusiasm at the time. The ice balls maker seems like a gimmick until you see them and use them in a drink. Holy cow, you have to try it to understand how awesome it is. And then there's the rest of the fridge. It's quiet and well lit, the regular ice maker is great, and the water dispenser is easy to use. Probably the easiest fridge to move into place, the thing rolls on it's wheels so easily. Has a WiFi connection and an app that tells you stuff about fridgy things. I strongly approve of this contraption!
I love this fridge freezer combination. Plenty of room in the fridge side and the quick access door is used all the time. The fruit and vegetable draws and door trays are excellent size. The Craft Ice Maker is a big bonus especially coming into summer. The water dispenser when used with ice is fine but unfortunately the water alone is not cold enough after you to pour several glasses of water, only the first few glasses are really cold. Freezer has a bit of unused space so I think another shelf would be good about 15cm below the top shelf for loaves of bread etc. Even with these minor things, I would buy this fridge again.

I've read the reviews complaining about the noise, but all ice makers are loud! This one is no exception, but honestly it doesn't bother me even at night.
