We've had an LG washing machine for 12 years or so and as the old one gave up we bought a new one. I can't fault the washing programmes or the fact it's not hard on clothes or that the clothes don't tangle.My problem is the teeth in the filter make it almost impossible to keep clean. The old LG machine had bags and that wasn't much better. Maybe you could include a suitable brush or tool for this purpose. Cheers

This machine a replacement for our 2 decades workhorse, LG a new brand for us.Decided to try no agitator. Good move, no more tangled cothes!Roomy tub, easy to reach into. Cleans well.I also like the waterlevel adaptation, and we both like that the spin is so quiet.Lint filters are handy, easy to clean, and very efficient.Smartly styled, looks good. Kiddy lock a necessity for some households, as buttons at the front!Hopeful that this model outlasts us!

This is the first time I have had a machine without an agitator. I am happy with the cleanliness of the clothes. The low water use is good as we don't have town water and only have a well for our water.The one thing I would have liked is that we could recycle the water. We had years ago, a washing machine that we could suck back clean water from the rinse cycle and use it to wash another load of clothes.

Cleans much better than my previous Fisher & Paykel machine with agitators. Quite vigorous on clothes though. Would suggest using delicates bags for stretchy fabric you don’t want to risk getting stretched out, or use a slower spin speed. Love the happy tune when it is finished and all the cycle options. Overall so happy with this machine.
My laundry floor slopes toward a floor drain in an uneven way - I need all 4 legs to be able to be adjusted to properly balance the machine. Imagine my surprise when I found that only the front two legs are adjustable. Given the frustration this caused, I am tempted to make some rude comments about the designer...I also found that it takes very may key presses to set my own program - and there doesn't seem any capacity to store the setting - so I need to do this every time I wash...Apart from that, I love the machine. It looks great and I love that it doesn't have an agitator creating a nice big open space
Not particularly happy with having to reset all the choices of washing every time I do a load of washing. My prior front loader was set and forget. As soon as I'd turn it on it went to the settings I used last. Easy peasy. One also has to experiment with water setting. The first and second time of use, the water usage EMPTIED our entire hot water heater. Took over night to provide hot water again. We now use a setting of 1 and its good. Our former machine heated the water for us once the cold water was in the matching. It didn't use hot water from the hot water heater. Much more efficient and saving on electric bill. Overall, we're basically happy with the top loader...it just takes a getting used to the differences between former and current machines. It looks good however it has already a lot of visible scratches on the black part from having wiped off washing powder particles. I enjoy its cute musical tones when washing has finished. The biggest downfall is that it has no base; the underneath is completely exposed so unwanted critters can nestle in there easily and call it home Bases are manufactured however it isn't worth the additional expense. Bigger and nicer than our previous machine. It sings a little song when it’s finished which makes us feel boujee (lol). I’ve noticed it seems to leave clothes damper than my old machine but it cleans so well. It beeps while filling up (on the quick cycle I usually use) which is my only tiny “complaint”. Just something different, not necessary a bad thing. Great machine for us.
It's still early days, but so far we've been loving our LG top loader - we love the flexibility of top loaders over front loaders and this one has no agitator, which makes it so much gentler on clothes! Only downside: it wants to do everything for us - weighing the clothes (so if they're wet the reading is inaccurate), working out how much water to use etc. There are only a few wash cycles that allow you choose those things for yourself. Hopefully we'll get used to it - and so far it's been great in all other respects. So we're pretty happy over all. Thanks, LG!
I bought this machine 26 months ago, it worked great and I was very happy with it. Two months out of warranty it showed a PE error which is to do with water level. Once the error showed up the machine wouldn't do anything, couldn't spin, rinse or do a manual wash. Nothing. $170 to get a technician to tell me they'd get back to me with a quote. $190 for the quote but was told there was no way to diagnose if this was the true error and that fixing it was a trial by error process. So after 2 years, it was easier just to buy a new machine. Very disappointed and wondering just why they are so hard to repair in a costly manner?
