I just adore this story. The feelings and emotions of the characters are so incredibly depicted .I like the way the author changes the pace of the story - so cleverly written.I'm actually enjoying books better than movies now. Much more fulfilling.

Picked it up for an casual read. Finished it in 2days, work got in the way. What a gripping read and dont we all just want a 'happy ever after'?

Started reading Liane Moriarty after watching the TV series Big Little Lies which was based on her book of the same name. I loved it and have since read most of her novels. She is witty in dealing with serious topics, so in the midst of worrying about a character she will insert something funny. Love her characters! Each book stands on its own, not part of a book series so grab them in any order. I just love her writing style. Easy to read but not a fluff book. Great story lines and character development. We know what each character is doing and thinking relative to the other characters. Great plot and great characters!
After seeing Big Little Lies and reading The Husbands Secret, this was boring in comparison. I kept waiting for the hook, which eventually came, it just didnt deliver that intrigue I so hoped for. Easy read and a more light, less complex story line.
Consistent with all of Lianne Moriarty's books. Characters very well drawn, very believable and full of suspense. A real page turner. You feel as though you're in the situation with them. Excellent read.
