My cat can't always get all his food out of this, but I'm sure that's partially laziness and I will definitely keep using it for wet food treats. It's also a good way of giving them broth or gravy. Can be difficult to clean if there are solid chunks in the food. I found it to be good quality, though I have a cat and he doesn't try to eat it or anything as you might get with dogs.

This keeps our 18 month old cocker spaniel occupied for ages. I save some of her kibble from her meal and soften it with warm water then mush it into the mat. This way less treats are needed as its only using her daily food allowance. It washes really easily by holding it under the running tap, or putting in the dishwasher. I had reservations about her picking it up and chewing it but this hasnt been the case. It doesnt move across the floor easily so this is also useful. Its going to be ideal to take away camping etc. Id recommend to others.

Goodbye to the days of getting jumped on or bailed up, barked at & no more random acts of destruction, whilst I'm out A great variety of tasty trests can be spread over the mat, always keeping her active mind occupied, satisfied & soothed! Highly recommend for all pets, to help them pass their time alone

My Border terrier has taken to eating his breakfast on the lickymat. Good for squashing fruit on. My dog also suffers from anxiety so enjoys extended periods of licking this mat.
I use this to feed my puppy her wet food. She really enjoys using it as it will keep her occupied and entertained for quite awhile. It's great for mental stimulation. The material isn't the strongest, so I am definitely considering upgrading to the tough version as I will continue to use Lickimats. This version is ideal if you have a dog that isn't such a keen chewer, although if they do chew, then go for the tough version.
My little Yorkipoo suffers from anxiety which causes him to lick his paws and make them sore. Hes very happy that he now has a mat to lick, usually filled with gravy which is his favourite. It keeps him occupied and takes his mind off his paws.
My dog absolutely loves this Likimat. He knows as soon as I get it out. I spread smooth peanut butter on it. He licks and licks until he licks it all up then goes to sleep on his bed. Need to get another one to stop the fights over it. Fabulous relaxing product.
Was dubious about getting these, best thing I've done! My dogs liked people a lot but that has eased off using this. Highly recommend 5*****
I bought 2 for my dogs. A border collie and a jack Russell Terrier. Initially I was surprised they were like silicone and very flexible and was worried that my JRT would eat the mat as well as the food spread on it. Thankfully, that's not happened up to time of writing. They have been left for a couple of hours on 3 occasions now. I use primula, chicken paste (the sandwich spread stuff) and pilchards mixed with mashed potato so far.....
I loved the Lickimat Slomo for wet food, and bought this to use for the cats daily soup (I know...!) The cat loves the activity but Ive found this particular mat a bit wasteful. Its marketed for soups in particular, but unfortunately if the soup has any meat in, the fibres get pressed down and stuck in the mat, so gets wasted. Have just tried a lick-e-lix yoghurt treat and thats mostly gone but still a bit left. This mat is also not dishwasher safe, which is a bit of a pain, and surprising, as other models in the brand are. Its still nice to slow him down, but other models are a bit better.
