I bought this for my parents because they are over 50 years of age. People of 50 years old need more vitamin B12 because their body can't absorb as well anymore. My dad had megaloblastic anaemia for a time and doctor recommended he take B12 so he took this and the blood was normal again at the next follow up. the tablets size are small and easy to take. They are lozenges too if you can't swallow tablets, the taste is ok. The packaging is ok.

I suffer from anemia and recommended taking vitamin B9, also called folate or folic acid with my iron supplement to help make red blood cells and to iron absorb better. It's recommended to take folate than folic acid since it's an easier formula for the body to absorb.I also have insulin resistance and take metformin. Metformin can deplete B12. My mum can’t take large pills and capsules. These supplement come in micro sized capsules, so she love them because of their size. Folate is better and more bioavailable form of folic acid and they are great quality. Convenient package. A must for men and women. A must for everyone above 40 yo. Not very potent folate, there’s another offer with 1700 mcg but that’s fine for average person. You can buy them with confidence.
So, I stopped eating meat in August (my blood type is A, so not eating meat is ok - if you wish to become a vegetarian/pescetarian, check your blood type first - my friend is a blood type 0 and almost died because of being a vegetarian, even if she was really careful with what she ate) and I completely forgot about B12 deficiency. Two weeks ago I started getting pain in my joints, I had dhiarrea and stomach problems, etc.i immediately realised it was because I do not have enough of B12.They work like a pearl, and really fast too. I can train in fitness normally now. And Folate is great, we lack it anyways.
I take Methyl B12 and Folate with B6 P5P to lower homocysteine levels. and also for their effects on the nervous system. Cannot find a better deal for B12 and Folate in their methyl form. The ingrediencies are clean from magnesium stearate and silica, and other fillers which may be potentially harmful.Life Extension is known for their quality, and I often buy their products, so far so good.
