For years I have had problems with leg cramps & constipation. The cramps were because I was doing a low carb diet and I would wake up sometimes 3 times in the night with cramps in my calves, shins, and my toes would curve under so bad that I had to literally pull them straight. All I know is that I eat, pretty, cleanly and still my body lets me know it is quite unhappy without magnesium supplementation. I know that it has different forms and uses. I would suggest you research it some and look at your diet/health needs. I started with Natural Calm (citrate powder) on a lesser amount before these caps to build my tolerance up to LE’s 500mg dosage. It never bothered me or made me anxious. (If this does that to you, I would suggest talking it over with your doctor and running some tests for other deficiencies. Like many other mineral needs in our bodies, everything has an adequate amount requirement of other ones to be effective).
