Life Extension Super Omega-3 EPA DHA With Sesame Lignans Olive Extract - 240 Softgels
Support cognitive health with optimal doses of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids. Super Omega-3 supports cognitive health and helps maintain already healthy LDL and HDL lipoprotein and triglyceride levels. The Mediterranean diet, in which extra virgin olive oil and seafood are staples, is associated with a longer lifespan. This healthy diet inspired us to combine a pure, highly concentrated fish oil with sesame lignans and unique polyphenols from olive extract. Omega-3 fatty acids support blood vessel function, promote blood flow, and help maintain already healthy blood pressure. Polyphen-Oil Olive Extract is concentrated and standardized to provide the health-promoting benefits of polyphenols from olives. Each serving (2 softgels) provides a level of olive polyphenols similar to that of over 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. These polyphenols favorably influence metabolism and oxidative stress. It is recommended to take four (4) softgels twice daily with meals.

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fats that have been extensively researched for their numerous health benefits. They are considered essential fatty acids because the body cannot produce them on its own and must obtain them through diet or supplementation. The two main types of omega-3 fatty acids are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), both of which are found in fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel. Plant-based sources of omega-3s include flaxseed, chia seeds, and walnuts.Research has shown that omega-3s can have a positive impact on heart health by reducing triglyceride levels, blood pressure, and the risk of plaque buildup in the arteries. They may also have anti-inflammatory effects, which can benefit individuals with inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.Omega-3s have also been linked to cognitive function, reducing the risk of depression and anxiety, and improving overall brain health. Additionally, they may have a positive impact on eye health, reducing the risk of age-related macular degeneration.Overall, omega-3 fatty acids are an important component of a healthy diet and have numerous health benefits. While it's possible to obtain adequate levels through diet alone, some individuals may benefit from supplementation. It's important to speak with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplements.

Studies suggest fish oil supplements might help reduce pain, improve morning stiffness and relieve joint tenderness in people with rheumatoid arthritis. While relief is often modest, it might be enough to reduce the need for anti-inflammatory medications.

I've been taking fish oil religiously for almost 4 months now and I usually take it after dinner and I've never experienced any discomfort except for fishy burp which is tolerable, at least for me. I've heard that this brand is really good and it's on the top list for fish oil supplements so I said I'd give it a try. On the first day, I experienced headache after a few minutes of taking it but I didn't mind because I thought I was just too tired because of work. Took it the next day and I got a headache again, same thing on the 3rd and 4th day. 😣 Though the headache goes away after waking up from a sleep or a quick nap. On the 5th day, I've decided to stop taking it and went back to my old brand of fish oil and guess what? ? No more headaches and got my peaceful ... My mom also takes fish oil, I had her try it and surprisingly, she didn't experience any headaches! She's on her 3rd day of taking it and she has no complaints! Maybe this particular brand of fish oil just doesn't suit me. ☹️

When I first evaluated this product I took into account the nice packaging, reasonable price, promising list of ingredients, convenient because you only need a couple of pills a day. I was sold by all the above and I pressed the buy bottom. I the received the product and started taking it and to be honest I didn't feel any effect whatsoever. In time what I did notice is the it contains a totally useless and questionable ingredient, a highly processed sugar deemed as "safe" called maltodextrin. Yes, it is hidden in there and I didn't read the label properly. The more I research maltodextrin the more I wonder why this company added it to this product. Then I proceeded to check other products of the same company and guess what? All the ones I check contain ...
