i listen to a podcast, i forgot who was talking. but he talked greatly about B12 methylated vitamin. I checkout the B12 that i was talking and it is not methylated. So I bought this, take one in the morning, and I felt something good. Even my wife who is always skeptical about supplement definately felt the difference. I think it lowered my wife blood pressure. Individual results vary. But it is not expensive so I think it is worth a try!

While adenosylcobalamin promotes the breakdown of fatty acids and amino acids while methylcobalamin promotes nervous system functions and red blood cell formation. Unfortunately I had to discontinue using it because the xylitol in it caused gastric upset. It's a top quality product and brand that's backed by significant research.

The brand Life Extension generally delivers when it comes to dietary supplements. This one is an exception, not because of quality (it does contain the most bio-available form of vitamin B12, namely methylcobalamin), but more because of personal preference: I would rather swallow a tasteless tablet than chew or dissolve in my mouth a flavored lozenge. However, the dosage of the active substance works quite well for me, as higher concentrations seem to give me acne breakouts. If only Life Extension could make the same product in tablet or capsule form...
I gave this Vitamin B12 a try because I'm pescatarian and don't get as much iron and B12 through food as meat eaters do. I actually don't like when vitamin supplements have super high dosages, like this small tablet which contains more than 20,000% of our daily requirement, but I gave it a try. I actually chose to swallow only half of it as the dosage was high. Quite frankly, I didn't notice any benefits on my energy levels or my hair so I'm not sure how I feel about this supplement. The ingredients and quality of Life extensions seems fine, but overall I can't say I noticed any benefits.
