Lifespan Kids Strongbox XL Square Sandpit

I bought this as a Christmas present and assembled it Christmas Eve. By the first week of January the screws started snapping and one of the seats fell off. The timber may be treated but it weathers and will expand significantly, making the cover and seats too big to close properly, and thus stressing the fixings. The screws provided are not galvanised or stainless, and they are already rusting.The priest is not worth the full price and be ready for some DIY fixing if you want it to last longer than a week.Customer service is also poor and rude. I was told in order to get a refund I had to disassemble the sandpit (what am I supposed to do with 250kg of sand?) and deliver it back to the factory in my own packing solution.Great design but poor quality materials ... MoreI bought this as a Christmas present and assembled it Christmas Eve. I bought this a month ago. If I had read the reviews I probably would not have made the purchase. To try and get it to last longer I have bought a tarp to prevent it getting it wet. It is bringing a lot of joy and fun for my grandson. I will update in about 6 months.
