The Adilette debuted in 1970 as a shower slide for the German national football team during the world's biggest match in Mexico before being officially released back in '72. It's been a style mainstay of adidas ever since. These slides stay true to the original look with a contoured footbed and 3-Stripes across the bandage upper.

My son chose these for my husband’s birthday. We got a size larger to be on the safe side. We were happy when we saw them, they looked bright and cheerful. However, they were far too narrow for my husband and they were also a bit too snug for me. I would give 3 stars for the actual sliders. The 1 star is for the fact that I had to pay £4.99 for the pleasure of driving 3 mile round trip to collect them. When I took them back I was told that they couldn’t accept them anymore and I had to send them back by post and pay for the postage. This would mean it would cost almost as much collect and return as the cost of the item. Would not buy on line with this company again.

After beating up my pair with over 10 years of abuse, I decided to buy some more. So My daughter, who often bogarts my sandals, wanted her own pair. Here's my review on my sandals because it applies to these. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've had my previous pair approximately 10 years and they are still hanging on, but hardly presentable as I abused the snot out of them and wore them everywhere including places you shouldn't wear sandals. The build quality is the same, slightly different inner strap material and approximately 4mm smaller than my old pair length wise; however, my old pair were a little too big, so these actually fit better (more true to size). I have other pairs of Adidas sandals that are made of that special foam (cloudfoam); well, they make your feet sweat and for some reason are more uncomfortable for long-term wear and soles wear out quicker since it's made of soft material. These sandals are made of thick, heavy (I-can-beat-someone-over-the-head) long lasting rubber. Don't get me wrong, they are still absorbent and comfortable. If you tossed these sandals at someone, you'll go to jail for attempted murder. These are my sandals of choice for all occasions and when they are not beat up like my old pair, they are stylish.

I bought this 2 weeks ago along with nowhere pair of adilette slides...along with 19 other items from sports direct all various items and sizes, this is how I shop and send back what I don't like. So, I tried the 1st adilette slides and they fitted perfect, as have all other adilette slides I've bought in the past have been perfect. My niece decided to help me and got the other adilette out (which I described above) of the packaging and cut off the tags in haste but making life easier and excitable. As soon as I put them on I knew, and took them straight off. It's like the band is too tight squashing my foot out at the back and no toes up the front. So I appreciate the tags are off, I'm asking if i can swap them for another adilette design, similar to my others with ... MoreI bought this 2 weeks ago along with nowhere pair of adilette slides...along with 19 other items from sports direct all various items and sizes, this is how I shop and send back what I don't like. This was the reason I didn't send them back with all the other items as its a unique case.Kind regardsRobin
I bought these slippers for my brother. He is in between sizes 11 and 12. Although, the first pair (size 12) turned out as way big, but the second pair (size 11) was perfect. He said he never ever had such a comfortable pair of slippers and he never ever will buy another brand. Our dad often steals his slippers as they are the same size but he stated he is not allowed yo wear these ones. The procedure of return went smooth and I have received my money in a couple of days. I highly recommend not just these slippers but practically any Adidas product.
I purchased these in the olive (the color is beautiful) as a gift to my daughter for Valentine's Day. The band is high and wide so her feet slides straight to the front. She really likes them so she wants to keep them and wear thick fuzzy socks. We may have to exchange them for my size because having narrow feet is not my problem and again the olive color is extra cute.
The Cloudfoam sole has good support, but is not the super soft bottom like other Adidas slides. They also are about a half size longer than my other Adidas slides but much more narrow. They also get very slippery when wet, so be careful where you wear them. Still a nice, lightweight shoe, but not the best.
Use to be a big fan of Adidas products. Even supported them when Nike looked like they were going to push them out of the marketplace. If they keep putting out products like these piece of junk slides which my 12 year-old son bought and wore a couple times and they completely disintegrated. I have never seen a product fail so quickly and completely. This footwear literally broke in half. We bought my 12-year-old boy these slides so he could wear them in the house instead of wearing his shoes and they didn’t even last a month. And that is far from him constantly wearing them. My son and husband have always owned Adidas slides. My husband has had the same pair for probably 5 or more years. My son kept having to get new ones every time his foot grew. We never consider any other brand. This time as he needed a new pair for college, again he chose these basic Adidas slides. They’re great quality for the price and I know they’ll last.
I bought these for my daughter as she plays VB and needs something to slip on after changing from her on court only shoes. It took a few good wears to break in she said as has a bit of an arch. She finds them to be more comfortable after some wear. She finds mine to be more comfy as I have the adilette comfort slides. She likes these ones as they are solid pair of slides but if you are looking for more comfort go with the comfort slides.
