The wig density is so thin that the wefting shows in the back. It’s not wearable and I’m very disappointed I’m returning Limelight and will wait for the Longing for Long.

I have purchased many wigs from this site. My favorite is Longing for Long by RW and wanted to purchase another on in off black in Longing for Long. However, all colors were completely out of stock so I decided to purchase the Limelight by RW. Based on my previous purchases of RW wigs, I thought Limelight would be good too. I was wrong. The wig density is so thin that the wefting shows in the back. It’s not wearable and I’m very disappointed I’m returning Limelight and will wait for the Longing for Long.

It's too much money to pay to have this big issue with it.

Any wig looks good right out of the box. I’ve had Limelight for a little over a month and it has been a journey. After about 3 days it was a clumpy stringy tangled mess. I know how to take care of my wigs. Been wearing them for over 10 years due to alopecia. Took to the internet for help. Found Mane and Tail detangler. It helped some but not enough. Found a you tube video about using texturizing shears to thin it out. The wig is better but still gets stringy. Maybe I thinned it out too much. For this price point I don’t think I will purchase this wig again. Next time I want long hair I’ll go back to Curve Appeal. I love Rachel Welch wigs so much I have never bought another brand. I bought this wig after loosing my hair to chemo after breast cancer. I was told it was low heat resistant wig so could be styled and would look more natural. I thought the price over synthetic wigs would be worth the money. I was disappointed at how thin and see through it was at the top. If you don’t have it styled just right you can see the cap. Pretty disappointed.

I have alopecia areata and it has been a horror show trying to find that perfect wig that makes me feel like me. I purchased a real wig that cost thousands and a local salon destroyed it by using some chemical washing solution on it. I have purchased over 10 wigs since which has only been 2 months and had to send them back . The color was wrong, the wig was for a clown, and didn't look anything like the picture.I talk to a customer service agent at Headcovers and she helped me with color and when I received this wig and opened it, I was so happy and I hadn't even put it on yet. :)This wig will not disappoint you, I promise! It even comes curled for you, which is beautiful. It is actually a little longer than the picture shows which for me was a huge plus. If you ... I started wearing wigs about 5 years ago and decided to order my first wig from wigs.com. I ordered this limelight unit in RL4/6. I was very happy, the quality was amazing and the color looked so natural no one ever knew I was wearing a wig. Since my first order I have ordered about 4 wigs over the years in the same color and style and have noticed that the quality has really started to go down hill. The hair was much thinner making it difficult to style and I had to part it a certain way to hide the monofilament top. I managed to make it work though because it is such a great color and finding a good wig that works for you is often difficult. I just received my latest order in the mail and was excited to have a new wig to wear but when I pulled it out of the box I ... If this had been the first time a received somthing of poor quality I would give them another chance but it seems to be a pattern with this particular product and has been frustrating.

I had seen reviews saying the hair was thinner, but some said it was “ok”. Itms not necessarily that it’s so thin denisity wise, but the gaps between the wefts are inches apart. It’s impossible not to see through the wefts regardless how much you style. And with a style this long, the more you style the rattier and more tangled it gets. It was just awful all the way around. I had heard how much everyone loved the color shaded biscuit, and it was “ok” except it goes from white to black at the temple. They have highlighted soooo heavy, and then rooted soooo dark that there is no inbetween or gradualness to it. It looks like a skunk. I thought maybe I could keep it to wear under a ball cap, but I think I’m just sending it back.

I love Limelight. First of all I love the heat-defiant soft, luxurious, realistic hair. Also this unit sits close to the head for a very realistic look. The style is so pretty and can be worn swept across the forehead without falling in your face. The color I ordered is Shaded Biscuit which is an absolutely divine color. It is a slightly ashy blonde which I usually can't wear but for some reason I feel this blonde looks good with my skin tone. The density is realistic and can be worn out of the box with no styling or thinning. My only complaint is that there is a thin area in the back which seems like it may be prone to letting the wefts show through. I still love wearing this wig, you can pull it back to hide this area with a clip. I hope they fix this minor ... MoreI love Limelight.
