I just ate almost this whole chocolate bar. It is one of the most delicious tasting chocolates I have ever tasted. I have been to Switzerland a couple of times and eaten a lot of their chocolate over there. I hope you can make a bar with hazel nuts those are delicious. I love dark chocolate but find that seventy percent chocolate seems to be best for rmy taste. The chocolate flavor is still intense and the correct amount of sweetness is still present. When the chocolate bars rise above the seventy percent chocolate the sweetness decreases and bitterness of thocolate increases. I do not care to taste bitterness in the chocolate I eat. I wish your company would come out with a thick European hot chocolate drink like I used to drink in Italy. I have looked everywhere ... MoreI just ate almost this whole chocolate bar. This is the dark chocolate bar I kept going to while trying the keto diet. The flavor is beautiful. It is fruity and less bitter than most other high cacao content bars. The chili spice brings out the sweetness, and a small serving is just enough to satisfy those late night sweet cravings. It is a premium brand chocolate and priced accordingly. It is smoother than others and worth the price if you can find it on sale. It is usually available at my local supermarket for under $3. I buy it as a special treat and recommend it for others wanting to try something new or needing a diet specific dessert item.

Okay so I have two different perspectives, me and my mother and they are completely different hence 3 stars. I actually do not mind this. I wouldn't say it's the best ever, but I do enjoy it on occasion. It's a bit too intense for me to eat it all in one setting though. My mother on the other hand, hated this with a passion. Her words were that it tasted like eating perfume laced chocolate. Which I can kind of understand because the orange taste really can be a bit biting and the dark chocolate gives it a bitterness that reminds me more of zest rather than orange. But again, I don't mind that taste all that much but just thought I'd make a note of it. For the price I'd say it's worth a try if you're curious which is why I bought it in the first place. I do like to cut it by eating it with some Hawaiian sweet rolls. For some reason it mind of makes the chocolate a bit milder.

I highly recommend this chocolate bar to those who are looking for a NO ADDED SUGAR chocolate bar. This is a delicious option IF you have been working on detoxing your taste buds from sugar and high corn syrup. If you are a regular sugar and candy consumer you will not enjoy this bar. But if you like chocolate, are on a no sugar diet by choice or because you have to, and you have detoxed your palette of sugar, you will love the richness, simplicity, and softness of this chocolate bar. I highly recommend it IF you aren’t addicted to sugar. If you are a regular sugar eater, and who isn’t?, just stick to the many other delicious sugar added options in the market. This is my favorite afternoon treat and now a staple of my grocery shopping list.
The Lindt Excellence Almond with a Touch of Honey Dark Chocolate Bar was a sweet snack for all. I like that the bar could be broken into squares for a quick Chocolately treat! It also allowed for proper sharing with my 3 year old! When I opened the Chocolate bar up I could see the Almonds inside and a very faint scent of Honey. When I tasted the dark chocolate square I couldn't really taste the Dark Chocolate. The Almond and the Touch of Honey were the perfect balance to the Dark Chocolate. This combination of flavors was very good together and it was very enjoyable! I could taste the faintness of Honey as well. Overall, the Lindt Excellence Almond with a Touch of Honey Dark Chocolate Bar is an excellent treat we would recommend! I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I am not a chocoholic, but I have always enjoyed Lindt (and some other chocolate) in small quantities. This 80g thin Bar of 55% chocolate is a recent addition to the Range of Lindt bars and tastes like the standard wrapped Lindt chocolates but in a bar so no centre, obviously. It is a milk chocolate but has added cocoa mass but richer in cocoa taste. Nice to munch, brilliant in a hot chocolate, but actually the winning use for me is as the base of a Chocolate Pot, importantly a good taste, it won't set really hard or even solid like 60% plus or more does, it won't be too rich and nicely fills a gap in the market of high quality chocolate that was once filled by Cadbury's Bourneville (Plain) bars - ... MoreI?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Quite frankly had I not been given an opportunity to review this Free Product I would have ignored it thinking it too lightweight. As a luxury brand base for a special pud at Christmas 2 bars will make 8 - 10 small choc pot puds with my recipe. Be interesting to get family feedback - other suspect - ooh this is like the original taste when first made 30 years ago - well I hope so - Thank you Ocado. To tell the truth I had to hide this to review my own thoughts as covetous eyes.... well now there is half a bar left, let's see how quickly it vanishes into a Hot Chocolate.. Note... Other Half says Waitrose are doing a 50% high cocoa mass bar, he bought one for his hot Chocolate stash - i have just had a nibble. I prefer Lindt and it will suit my Choc Pot purpose too, it will set but correctly . My words and free choice.
This chocolate is very smooth and tastes great if you are a fan of chili chocolate. I find the two flavors complimentary and buy it whenever I want something different. If there were things I could change about it, they would be to make it a tad less sweet because it's a little sweet for a "dark" chocolate and more chili flavor. My 3 and 5 year-olds sneak pieces of "mommy's chocolate" and rather enjoy it so it's probably not dark or spicy enough. Also not sure if others experienced this, but I'm sensitive to caffeine and this chocolate gives me quite the caffeine kick if I eat more than 2 squares on an empty stomach. Overall, l love this and have been eating it for years ( I guess my kids love it too). Also I love the even darker and the sea salt bars from Lindt.
I tried this chocolate last week and it was just okay. As a chocolate lover, I didn't hate it but it wasn't a chocolate bar I would try more than once. I did like the fact that the honey made it sweeter than most dark chocolates I have tried. The almond pieces were also a nice addition to the bar as well. I didn't however, like the overpowering honey smell. I think that was my biggest turn off and is the main reason why I am not interested in trying this product a second time. In spite of the smell, I will say that overall the packaging was quite attractive and enticing. Though it was not the best chocolate for me, I would recommend it to dark chocolate lovers.
I was disappointed. It was too bitter to eat. My son liked it though so I let him have it. To each his own. Now the sea salt Lindt dark chocolate is delicious. Looking forward to trying the other flavors and percentages. I was surprised the 70% was so bitter. Can’t imagine the higher percentages being palatable. We shall see! This 70% is a no from me though!
SO GOOD! I was craving a Terry's chocolate orange but those are a seasonal item. I settled for this and WOW. The flavor was so perfectly balanced and the almond slivers are a brilliant addition. Was glad I got 2 bars because I almost ate the first one in one sitting. I don't even prefer dark chocolate but this is so decadent and delicious 🤤Hard to stop shoving in your mouth so consider yourself warned.
