Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate Intense Orange 100g

I just ate almost this whole chocolate bar. It is one of the most delicious tasting chocolates I have ever tasted. I have been to Switzerland a couple of times and eaten a lot of their chocolate over there. I hope you can make a bar with hazel nuts those are delicious. I love dark chocolate but find that seventy percent chocolate seems to be best for rmy taste. The chocolate flavor is still intense and the correct amount of sweetness is still present. When the chocolate bars rise above the seventy percent chocolate the sweetness decreases and bitterness of thocolate increases. I do not care to taste bitterness in the chocolate I eat. This is the dark chocolate bar I kept going to while trying the keto diet. The flavor is beautiful. It is fruity and less bitter than most other high cacao content bars. The chili spice brings out the sweetness, and a small serving is just enough to satisfy those late night sweet cravings. It is a premium brand chocolate and priced accordingly. It is smoother than others and worth the price if you can find it on sale. It is usually available at my local supermarket for under $3. I buy it as a special treat and recommend it for others wanting to try something new or needing a diet specific dessert item.

Okay so I have two different perspectives, me and my mother and they are completely different hence 3 stars. I actually do not mind this. I wouldn't say it's the best ever, but I do enjoy it on occasion. It's a bit too intense for me to eat it all in one setting though. My mother on the other hand, hated this with a passion. Her words were that it tasted like eating perfume laced chocolate. Which I can kind of understand because the orange taste really can be a bit biting and the dark chocolate gives it a bitterness that reminds me more of zest rather than orange. But again, I don't mind that taste all that much but just thought I'd make a note of it. For the price I'd say it's worth a try if you're curious which is why I bought it in the first place. This Lindt caramel and sea salt dark chocolate is a treat!It's dark, rich and creamy with notes of sea salt which, combined with the richness of the chocolate is absolutely beautiful. This chocolate is thin and rectangle shaped. It has light foil wrapping and cardboard outer packaging giving a premium feel. The chocolate looks bigger than it is due to the whole piece being about 0.5cm thick. The chocolate has large groves with good size pieces for snapping and sharing. I really like the flavour with the chilli hint bringing out the taste of the dark chocolate. This is by no means spicy hot and gives a slight tingle at best coming from some one that does not have a high capacity for spicy food. The chilli has been added for flavour and not heat and this gives a great twist to the dark chocolate taste. God I love this!

I thought dark chocolate with sea salt might be weird. OMG it is just so creamy and heavenly. The salt really enhances the chocolate flavor. I was surprised. It would be great broken up in ice cream but I can't seem to get mine to last that long. I just eat it piece by piece immediately. It's big - not some skinny little flat bar. Yum-o!

My absolute favorite chocolate bar

Once I tried the Lindt Intense Orange Chocolate bar, there was no going back. Nothing else compares. I've always loved the combination of orange and chocolate - it's something my mother would do when I was a kid... orange sherbet and chocolate chips. It just works. So naturally, this brought back so many memories. The orange blends with the dark chocolate, it does not in any way overpower it. Just enhances the flavor significantly. I keep mine chilled in the refrigerator so that it's cold and has a crunch. I've been buying this for years and hope it never goes away!!

Smooth, nice texture but a little sweet

The Lindt EXCELLENCE A Touch of Sea Salt bar was very smooth, not bitter and enjoyable to eat. The texture when chewing was very nice and felt like a higher quality of chocolate.Unfortunately, it was just too sweet for me. I like my dark chocolate to have a more rich taste and the sweetness overtook that for me.Also, I’m a fan of salt in chocolate and this truly was “just a touch”. That may be a positive for some as it is just an enhancement to the chocolate.Overall, it is a quality chocolate with a pleasant flavor that I know many will probably enjoy.

This chocolate is an experience!

This is delicious! Slightly sweet and not bitter! Creamy and pleasing! The hint of sea salt was surprising. The sea salt adds a delectable and palatable sensation experience. Yes dark chocolate is an experience…lol! Great chocolate! Yum!

SO GOOD! I was craving a Terry's chocolate orange but those are a seasonal item. I settled for this and WOW. The flavor was so perfectly balanced and the almond slivers are a brilliant addition. Was glad I got 2 bars because I almost ate the first one in one sitting. I don't even prefer dark chocolate but this is so decadent and delicious 🤤Hard to stop shoving in your mouth so consider yourself warned.
