I have had the G10T for quite a while but broke it when I whacked it against a keyboard stand by accident. Same month I do that, Line 6 release a new version of this with a silver label and 1 more hour of claimed use. Decided to use a cable and save my money, but that was only fine until that cable got wrapped up on my stand or the pedalboard or...it just gets in the way. Got an email about a demo available and grabbed it immediately:D Got it yesterday, plugged it in, and after playing for 10-15 minutes, I completely forgot it wasn't a cable. Then I wondered if it sounds better than the cable. I can't tell. Trying to figure out why someone returned this, I plugged it into a headphone jack on my interface and played music through it. Just over 6 hours in, it starts to flash red. Thats the "you have 30 min left" signal, which I didn't care to test specifically but it did stay on for 10 more minutes when I pulled it and tossed it back on the charger. Not sure on charge time but when I checked it 2 hours later, it was full. So, this long winded review is to say it does what it claims, charge time is good, and the sound quality is going to take some rather special ears to discern.

I use this in conjunction with my Yamaha thr30 ii wireless amp, so I don't need the separate receiver. Just plugged it in to the amp and it charged straight away and paired / synced up without any need to set up anything at all. It charges up quickly, stays charged for long enough for a fair bit of play time. It has Zero latency and the audio is crystal clear. In fact, I now realise that the cable I was using was really making the amp and guitar sound quite poor. It has made all the difference to my tone and actually has made playing more pleasurable. Also works nicely with my DRS1 Electro acoustic. Definitely a worthwhile purchase and good value for money.

Beats dealing with cables. I have run through a lot of cables over the years. Sweetwater Sound. is always great to deal with. Thanks!

Worse transmitter in the market right now. The signal cuts of after a few 3 or 4 meters. the transmitter has a static noise after a few minutes of been connected. This new version Relay G10TII has less range on the signal than the original. Signal cuts of if you move away on stage for example getting closed to the singer will be sufficient for the signal to cut of.It is useless, I can not do gigs like this.
Seems well made, worked straight away (2023). Also works well using my Yamaha THR30ii as a pre-amp then out to my Ashdown SuperFly 500 programmable bass head and into my PJB cabs....for those times when 30 watts just doesn't cut-it ;-)I have not experienced any of the well recorded issues regarding operational distance on the 2020 manufactured model. Easily copes with 5 metres between Tx and Rx and that's in a 'busy' radio-wave loaded room. I imagine anyone experiencing issues should probably flash the firmware and see if that fixes it.
I tried numerous affordable wireless systems and this works the best among them. I have the pedal board receiver for these on 2 pedal boards and by plugging in between sets, I know the transmitter is always charged and ready to use. The fidelity is outstanding. The cable simulation control is great to have as well if you feel these are brighter than you are used to when you convert over from cables. They fit all guitars easily except for recessed Ibanez jacks where I've had my guitar tech extend the receiving end of the jack further into to recessed part of the guitar. These do get some interference from other WiFi sources so you have to be careful about routers at home or gigs. In the many years I've had this system, I've only once not been able to effectively use it - and that was at a dive bar that was loaded with wireless units right behind where the band riser was located. I also have one for my Yamaha THR30ii practice amp and it works great.
My original Relay G10 transmitter did not work when I bought a guitar with Fishman active Pickups (no audio at all). The G10II solved the problem. The only issue I have is that the button, built into the transmitter, sometimes does not make contact and it cuts out if not depressed.
Great little device, but.... when (not if) it goes flat, I can only charge it from my Yamaha THR amplifier. There is no usb port on this version, despite what the web description is still saying after I pointed it out to PMT online staff. So if I'm charging it via the jack on the amp, I then can't use my amp to play. I really expected to be able to keep playing via 1/4" jack lead to the amp whilst charging the device via a separate usb charger. Disappointed.Maybe a "copy and paste" of the product spec from the mk1 version? Please update the information on the website.
Bought this 6 months ago to use with a Yamaha THR30II. Worked fine for a few weeks. Then started having issues with it charging off of the THR. I could unplug it and replug multiple times and it would start charging again. Over the last few days I can't get it to charge at all.
I bought this to use with a Yamaha THR30II wireless amplifier. When it's charged up it works pretty well. The problem is that when I reach for it to use it's rarely in a working charged state. Which kind of defeats the purpose for me... to have something ready to just pick up and play when the mood strikes. I typically leave it plugged into the Yamaha to charge. I guess you need to baby it and disconnect it once it's charged or else if self discharges after a period of time. Which again, for me, defeats the purpose of this gadget. So, several times I've picked up a guitar to play, plugged this relay in to the guitar, and been greeted by silence and a dead battery. So what to do? Use a cable and forget about going wireless again. Hate to trash a product, but I can't ... MoreI bought this to use with a Yamaha THR30II wireless amplifier. Money better spent on something else.
