Fabulous yarn for large needle work. Great colours
I love this yarn. It’s an easy crotchet with large needle you can make these fabulous blankets. I used 8 balls with 102 stitches. The shade is espresso. Within the eight balls I found a couple of knots in wool but it’s an easy hide with such a large stitch.... Show more

Good for Scarves
I got the cinnamon %26 whipped cream to make winter scarves for my daughter, they turned out great. I only gave 4 stars because the color shown is not accurate, it looks to have an orange tint, in person it's more of red clay color, love it. The 12 oz. will make a nice long scarf. I will leave a photo but noticed on some review's their photos are not being shown.... Show more

Great yarn!
I cannot express how much I love this yarn. I learned how to crochet with Wool Ease T&Q and I still love working with it, but this yarn is slowly taking its place. It works up very similarly to T&Q but is so much softer and has a better drape. I also love that it is recycled plastic. Such a cool idea. Slowly all my bulky projects are being switched over to this yarn.... Show more

Lion Brand has done it again
I bought three skeins of Lion Brand Re-Spun yarn. It worked up quickly, but I encountered a few loose strands. Overall, this product is great because it is very sustainable for the environment and enhances my crochet projects. Re-Spun is my favorite new yarn brand. I'm going to buy more in the future.... recycled from plastic bottles is an excellent idea
I bought 8 balls of dark cherry Re-Spun Thick and Quick and was happy how soft it was but disappointed first that the dull brownish colour was called dark cherry as I was expecting a cheerful pinky red shade. It had too many knots and as I knit , white lint like pieces kept popping up. I made a full length coat and was disturbed that the edges tended to roll. the two front panels wouldn't lie flat and permanent pleats formed where there were purl stitches bordering the cables . The coat simply wouldn't close. I can see from places I had to unrip and redo that it isn't going to wear well. All in all, I'm very disappointed and unhappy with the product.... Show more

RE SPUN Thick and Quick
I bought 4 skeins to make a chunky throw. The label states to hand wash and air dry but the website states it is washable? Now afraid to wash it after all this work. Each skein had about 3-4 knots I had to cut out so now I have too many weave in ends for a skein with lots of yardage. The yarn does knit up beautifully and has great stitch definition. I will probably think long and hard to use this yarn again. It not good quality yarn.... Show more

Sorry, I can't recommend this yarn
I made a blanket and a throw pillow with this yarn. (I've been crocheting for over 50 years.) I wish I could say that I love this yarn because Lion Brand is one of my favorite brands and because this yarn is made from recycled plastic, but I don't like it at all. I think the recycling technology needs to vastly improve. After blocking, it does not hold it's shape. It also has a lot of fuzz, like animal-based yarn. I'm not a fan of this yarn at all.... Thick, Soft, & Sustainable
I love working with all the respun yarns, both the 4 weight and the thick and quick. I'm making a blanket out of the thick and quick, and I think it lives up to its name! It is definitely a little fuzzy, but a basket weave blanket pattern shows the stich work just fine in my opinion. Probably wouldn't be good for more delicate stitches, but that's true of pretty much all 6 weight yarns. No complaints! Beautiful color options!... Show more

This Yarn! I need more colors!
First time using this Respun yarn. I wanted to make a throw for curling up, watching movies. I decided to make something a bit more decorative. I love this yar. I just need more colors! Maybe a charcoal? Nice and soft and chunky. I didn't have any issues with knots, pulled from the center.... Show more

Very soft yarn!!
I bought this yarn to make a throw blanket with three different colors Bernat Softee Chunky skeins (Shadow, Seagreen, and Dark Mauve). Compared to the Bernat yarn, it was much softer. However the yarn is very fuzzy and not tightly spun so it was slightly more difficult to work with. For the purpose of my blanket it was perfect but I don’t think I would want to make something that I would wear with this a yarn, which is a bummer since it’s so soft.... Show more
