On an old high kms Mazda 3 did a full service, new plugs, oil flush and full synthetic oil, filters, cleaned MAF sensor, new O2 sensor, cleaned throttle body, checked with OBD2 and all seemed perfect, but idle was still a bit rough. Put in a bottle of Mos 2 and within 15 minutes of driving the car runs and idles like a brand new car. This stuff is pure magic.

This stuff is unbelievable. Poured it into engine whilst in SuperCheap carpark. Not that my engine is overly noisy, even though it is a diesel with 252,000 kms, I noticed a difference straight away. I'm an ex mechanic in my 60's & have always been a bit wary of certain additives, however, this brand does what it says. The engine is quieter & feels more in tune with the engine oil. Really impressed.

Normally I think oil additives are a waste of money but I was persuaded by a YouTube video to try this liqui-moly one as my petrol 4WD was due for its 170,000km oil change. I used the oil recommended by the manufacturer and added a tin of Liqui-Moly MoS2. This stuff absolutely changed the feel of my motor and the only word I could think of to describe the feel was "creamy". The motor revved like it was creamy. Smooth, linear and powerful. Whatever problem my 3.6L variable quad-cam V6 multi-point fuel injected motor had that was making it feel not-at -all-creamy in the past was transformed into something that feels like the motor will last quite a bit longer and the fuel consumption immediately dropped 0.5lt per 100km. Time will tell but all the signs are good.
On cold stat I could hear engine rattle noise for a second, and made me cringe every time. I decided to give Liqui Moly a go and see if it can eliminate the dry start noise. Sure and true to their words it did and did it so well and quickly. It must be protecting all the metal on metal parts inside the engine from damaging each other. This is great product and I'm very happy with it. I will use it again for sure.
This product works for sure. My pick up truck is a Ford ranger diesel. I decided to try Liqui Moly friction reducer and find out for myself what it can do. The result is all good. Engine runs noticeably quieter and smoother. Cold start is no longer a worrying issue as there is no metal on metal dry sound anymore. I am sure the performance is better too as I feel my truck as smoother acceleration less foot on gas . So I say this product should make my engine last longer . I will use this product again and again.
Does what it says on the tin. Definitely quieter after adding this to oil. The jury's out on longevity of effect as I've just added it and not completed any kilometres. As mentioned in previous reviews does make new oil look dark already but this stuff appears metallic grey as it goes in so understandable. Did two oil changes, one on VW BWA 2.0L Turbo, the injectors can be heard more now as the engine is quieter but only with the bonnet open. Also used in a Audi 2.0L FSI non turbo and super quiet. When purchased with oil on sale makes for a good additive choice.

It's either varnish or worn bearing material.Last round of new oil (same brand as before) I used just 100ml of this MoS2 product and just yesterday did another oil change 6 months later - to my shock and disbelief, there was next to ZERO sparkling glitter particles this time around. There must be some link between the two... Does it work? It claims to make things run smoother, less friction and therefore less fuel consumption. All sounds good but probably not worth the expense unless it's on sale. In older high powered engines this may well be beneficial and in my 2013 BMW 328i it seems to indeed smoothen things out and the engine purrs along nicely. I'll keep using it with each oil change as it certainly does no harm. Liquid Moly Cera Tec is probably the better choice if you want to feel/notice any improvements.
Definitely the go in addition to your car service. The only problem is that the product is black and affect the engine oil look straight away. hard to see when the oil become dirty.I change oil every 5000 kms regardless and add this bottle to the engine bay.
