A must have in your blue collection
This is one of my all time favorite blends of blue. It is gorgeous in water and skies. Dynamic as a highlight in portraits and animals. When mixed with white it creates a rich, soft tinting. Try it in the sky for clouds and darken by shading with black or adding your favorite blue...like a phthalo blue. Experiment adding some green or yellow shades and create some beautiful dimension in water pieces. Truly a must have on your palette.... Show more

Butter for my gelli
The Brilliant Blue, heavy body acrylic paint by Liquitex is vivid and opaque in color. Viscosity is quite similar to softened butter (in my opinion). I find this professional series of paint to be of good value, color and coverage. I primarily use it on my gelli plate and apply it with a brayer, brush, dauber or makeup sponge. After testing various brands and different viscosities of acrylic paint (both higher and lower in price per ounce), Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint has become my preferred choice for Gelli Plate Printing.... "HAPPILY PAINTING WITH SILVER LIQUITEX"
LIQUITEX silver is absolutely Amazing!!It has a ruchness in it's color. It also dries quick. And I am very happy with all the LIQUITEX assortment of colors. I use LIQUITEX silver on the edges of my painted flowers. It gives it a shiny lining. And, this step goes very well in berween the black ooutlined and the outside colors. I am an artist that have realized that painting makes me Happy. But I am more Happy when I use hoghquality paint. I have trued others, but not as happy as when I paint with LIWUITEX. and the tube of Silver Luquitex adds a lust to my painting. Thank You So Much. Nelly... Show more

I find this color very appealing and I would buy it again.
I paint for about two decades now and I have no idea how it is that I never had this paint in my stash of acrylic paint. Lately, I started to experiment with gelatin monoprinting and I use Payne's Grey a lot in backgrounds, until it dawned on me that Indigo would be another interesting dark, moody color to use as a background. So I ordered this particular Indigo by Liquitex Profesional Paints when it was offered at a reasonable price, thinking that if I don't like it then not much harm done. It turns out that I like it very much, and for me looks like this color has the right balance of pigment load, transparency and darkness that I need.#sweepstakes... Show more

Liquitex
Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint covers quickly without additional applications. There are a variety of colors to choose from and they mix nicely together. The lid is better than many brands because it opens easily. Other acrylic paint brands sometime need coaxing open with pliers. Price wise it is mid range compared with other professional acrylic paint.... Show more

Liquitex Heavy Body Artistic Acrylic Paint, 2-oz
I especially like this product. It's good quality, and does not dry up in the tube for a long, long time.... as so many other brands do such. I really like the size of the opening and the nice plastic cap. That is a real plus. Most other brands have smaller openings and metal caps which are difficult to keep on the tube, and consequently their product dries up much sooner. Also, I like the plastic tube. It is so much easier to squeeze.... Show more

Liquitex performs consistently
I have been using this brand for almost 40 years and I am never disappointed in it's performance. the heavy body is creamy and smooth and works well with it's supporting products like gel and pastes. There is a wide range of single pigment colors available in store which is convenient mid project. The best thing about Liquitex is I can work them like a fast drying oil. They glaze beautifully when thinned and perform fantastic doing impasto.... Show more

Love the products, wish more colors came in larger quantitie
I use about 23 or so different Liquitex Heavy Body colors, of which at least 9 are shades of blues. I also use their acrylic inks & quite a few of their mediums, especially the most texture giving ones such as heavy molding paste, Liquithick, Glass Beads, Ceramic Stucco, & Heavy Gesso. My only complaint is so few of the blue shades- especially anything teal, turquoise, or in the aqua family come in anything bigger than a 2 oz tube, 4 oz if I'm lucky. Even traditional blues don't come in jars or tubs or even often 4 oz tubes! I use extreme texture for my sculptural paintings which means using a lot of paint. I also use their paints to tint clay paint I make myself, adobe (unfired) sculptures, & paper sculptures, so I need a lot of paint & it would be nice if all ... Teal Sky
This Bright Aqua Green was the perfect accent color in the blue sky I created at a plein air event this past weekend. It perfectly added the right amount of green to the sky without making it too green. The color is just blue enough to blend seamlessly with the other blue I was using. Great color, coverage and stretch ability. This is one of my favorite colors. I will buy it again. Superb quality!... Show more

The Pro’s Choice Acrylic Paint
My first choice in acrylic paint as a professional artist is Liquitex Heavy Body. I have not found better pigments. “What brand of paint are you using?” is often asked. Perhaps it’s the brilliance and strength of the colors.I also thin the acrylic Liquitex Heavy Body paint to air brush consistency, painting on clothing, surfboards, canvas and mural surfaces....
