This one is really good too. It DEFINITELY leaves your mouth feeling minty fresh. The only thing at least to me, I feel like this one doesn't leave it feeling as fresh as the green one. Like, this one doesn't really pack on the punch. Its not as strong as the green one. This is strong, but it also leaves you with a minty breath. So this is good for someone who wants to get rid of bacteria in their mouth, but who also wants to leave with their breath feeling and smelling minty fresh as well as having their mouths tasting minty fresh as well. Mouthwash has an aftertaste, so you want the aftertaste to be minty too! Hopefully that made sense!

Why in the world would you discontinue your only product for those who prefer a fluoride-free product without dyes and artificial sweeteners? This makes no sense with a growing community of people who are trying to stay away from things that have become concerning. Are there plans to produce a replacement product, a new flavor, or something? I have been using this product for years, probably since it first came out. I was disappointed when the large size was phased out, forcing me to have to buy multiple bottles at a time, but now it's totally done away with? Most, perhaps all, who switched from your conventional products years ago are not willing to go back. We will find something else if you cannot meet our needs. I am very saddened by your choice as this was a great product. I do hope you will either reconsider the choice to discontinue this product or will VERY SOON be providing a new product that meets the needs of those of us who want an all-natural mouthwash without fluoride, without dyes, without artificial sweeteners, and so on.

Minty fresh mouthwash

Listerine Cool Mint daily mouthwash comes in a plastic bottle, and whilst we are all trying to use less plastic packaging nowadays, there isn’t really an alternative for liquids like mouthwash, therefore I didn’t see that as a problem. I had a slight concern that the blue colour might stain my teeth but after two weeks of using it twice a day I can confidently say that my teeth look whiter than before with no staining at all. Alcohol is listed second on the ingredients lists, so I expected a harsh and strong taste but in reality it was minty and fresh and not at all unpleasant. It really felt like it was working whilst I was gargling! My whole mouth felt minty clean after each use and my breath felt fresh. Probably not buying again in the future

I ran out of my normal Cool Mint bottle, so I ran to the store and saw that they had 2 different bottles for the same flavor. Since everything looked the same in the ingredients label, I decided to try the ultraclean to see what the difference was. Just tried it this morning, and right away I noticed a different taste, and a stronger burning sensation. The taste is kind of sweet and minty like when you eat a peppermint candy that leaves an after taste. After rinsing, you can definitely feel a super "squeaky" clean sensation. I also looked in the mirror and noticed a blue tint on my tongue. TURNED MY TEETH & TONGUE BLUE-GREEN!!

I only bought this product because Ultraclean Arctic Mint was discontinued. I've been dreading it because I've never been a Cool Mint fan. This mouthwash has SO MUCH dye in it that it turned my teeth and tongue blue-green!! Not to mention my poor bathroom sink! The taste is horrible as well - very artificially sweet and not very minty at all! Reminded me of children's toothpaste. It leaves a weird aftertaste and my breath doesn't feel any cooler or fresher than it does when I brush with just my toothpaste. I wish I would have read these reviews before spending 11$ on it! Works well, blue mouth

Bought the 3x ultraclean cool mint at costco. Long time user of several listerine products. First I’ll say I felt compelled to write this after seeing 1 and 2 star ratings about blue mouths and wanting product developers fired and “I’ll never buy any listerine product again”. Let’s chill out and keep it minty y’all. In my decades of use I find Listerine has a mild burning sensation when swished hard especially under the tongue, but I like that - the product has enough punch to kill everything without causing excessive irritation (I assume for most but those with very damaged, sensitive gums or an allergy to the non-actives). Only the dark turqoise versions dye my tongue and teeth somewhat blue-green but I find that the teeth clear up in 10 minutes and the tongue around 20. An added benefit is if I miss some spots brushing or start getting buildup between teeth the blue really highlights it - but a downside is it sticks to the natural grooves and lines in the surfaces and highlights those too. So if you have a hot date or gotta brush and run keep a little of the green or purple ones to freshen up quick without the dye problems, and use the deep blue stuff when you have time to touch up with a pick or just let it dissipate. I was going to snap a photo of my blue teeth and tongue but in the time it took me to post this it cleared off of my teeth and almost got to faint on the tongue to see it on a photo. If you’re having a serious enough problem with the blue to swear off all things listerine and demand the job of a hard working individual be honest with yourself and review if you’re keeping up enough with brushing and flossing properly - the blue bomb might be a blessing in disguise.
