I already owned a 3-step ladder that was rated for 300+ lbs. but wanted one that seemed sturdier. Even though the height of the steps are equal, the steps on the "Little Giant" are wider, almost twice as deep and stronger. When I'm standing on the top step of this "Little Giant', I feel much more secure because it feels solid as a rock. My husband is very heavy and agrees that it's a much better step-ladder than we had. I should note that it cost significantly more than our old one but, given the quality and peace of mind when I'm on it, it was worth every penny.

I'm getting a little older and I appreciate the characteristics of the Jumbo Step. Specifically, easy opening; light weight; wide step; and the optional "brace bar" if you're using the top step. When I say easy opening, I mean really easy...you can pick it up by one of the steps and it will start tp unfold.

Best step ladder I’ve ever had. Over 6 ft this is the perfect answer for the 8ft ceiling issues. The wide steps are perfect for big feet in bigger work boots. The handle? Is good to balance with but is a little wiggly for my tastes.

50 years in construction trade and this is the most comfortable step ladder I've ever used. Like walking up stairs. Easy on my bad knees. Safety bar is a bonus. No fear of falling while standing on the top step. Is a little on the wide side but this adds to stability. If you only have to go up 3 or 4 feet this is what you grab.
This 3 step ladder is useful for around the house as it's the ideal height but not bulky to take up space. The other thing is the build of this model isn't as sturdy, I had to tight up some bolts/nuts, although most of it is secured with rivets there are some bolts with spacers that get loose with usage of this ladder. The top bracket comes handy to store tool and small hardware for easy access. It was a great buy with discounted price.
I hope this won some design and engineering awards. It’s that good. Lightweight, compact and narrow when folded and easy to setup. It takes the step ladder and makes it more safe, easier to use and usable in more ways. This is the perfect height to reach any 8’ ceiling lights, top shelves in closets, tops of vehicles, you name it. The handle and the angle of the steps makes it safer to use. You can lean on the handle and not worry about the ladder sliding or slipping. It’s worth every penny.
Unit is strong, rated for up to 375 pounds. It is relatively light weight. It is small person and senior friendly with large areas for your feet so that you can be comfortable and balanced.
Nice wide steps provide secure platform to work on. The guard rail is in the right place, with molded places to put tools in. Heavy duty capacity will not only hold your weight, but weight of materials you are working with. The step ladder quickly folds into compact shape for storage. Easy and quick to set up, very secure in use. Best step ladder I have worked with. However, my wife found it heavy to carry. The weight is probably due to being rated for 375 lbs. I did not find it inordinately heavy to carry. Built and designed well, should last many years.
The ladder feels very solid and I am really comfortable climbing up and down with a dodgy hip. The hand rail is so helpful, it folds up neatly and while a bit heavier than the usual step ladders it’s not too heavy. It is a bit wider at the base and you can’t get as close as the cheaper step ladders but you can easily work from the side given the large steps. Very happy with this purchase.

That is, I have quite a range of ladders at my home ranging from long extension ladders, with which to get to to the roof of my double storey home to clean gutters, to some very nice professional solid, quality step ladders for doing things inside the home. However, I am now much older than when I used to use most of these and I am wary of safety issues relating to old dudes on ladders so I don't use the taller ones like I used to. So many older guys fall of ladders, including some of my colleagues, one of which broke his back and another who died soon after the fall. So I started using small step stools for such tasks but felt insecure without something to hold on to to steady myself. I saw the Little Giant Jumbo 3 Step Ladder with the handrail, watched the very convincing videos on YouTube about the product and ordered one delivered to my home. Well, it is brilliant! Relatively lightweight and folds flat to carry up my stairs easily under the arm. I would not trust the handrail to support a whole body weight, I think, but it is more than adequate to hold on to give a steadying reassurance in climbing the ladder. What was really unexpected, though, was just how wide the steps are. That makes standing on them very comfortable. All other step ladders that I know of have relatively narrow steps that get tiring on the feet if you are on them for a while. The wide steps on this ladder are brilliant! I am also a heavy dude so the 150 kg weight limit on the ladder works well for me. Other small ladders are much cheaper and I have a couple of them for purposes of eg climbing into my trailer boat in my back yard where I can hold on to the boat as I climb up the ladder but the new Little Giant Step ladder is the line that I shall use inside the house from now on. BTW, that Bunnings delivered the ladder to my home for just $10 was astounding cheap. Delivery was fairly quick too, considering that the ladder was a special buy that Bunnings had to order into the store. Am totally happy with the ladder and Bunnings' performance in selling me this ladder.
