LL Sal S9 Mom & Baby Plush Toy is fun for all young children. It comes all rolled up. You place it in a tub or sink and put it in water and it unrolls into what ever animal it is. My daughter was so excited to see the baby that came with the mother. It also come with a cup and a comb, to comb the hair. The belly color tells you if they are a girl or a boy. Very cute plush toy.

This is the second scruff a luv I got for my daughter. This one was a huge disappointment. The stuff animal was already revealed when she opened the box and the baby it came with was ripped on the arm and taped over. Maybe it was returned in the store? Upon further inspection the box is taped as well. I would return but my daughter still loves it.

My daughter loves Scruff-A-Luvs and this set is no exception. She thinks the baby is so adorable. She loves giving them a bath over and over again. My daughter wanted me to add that she "liked it a lot". So this is definitely 6 year old approved.

These are a sort of blind bag toy- wash it and get a surprise! The toy itself isokay, but it takes a very short amount of time to complete and then you’re left with a stuffed animal, poorly made, with minimal stuffing. My 6 year and I did this together, and it took 30 minutes max from start to finish. Unfortunately, the surprise of the toy itself was ruined from the start with a sticker on top that said “CAT”. After opening, the envelope with the accessory had fallen open and was loose in the box. The toy worked well in warm soapy water and cleaned up- make sure to scrub all parts to get the dry goo off before spinning in the washer. The toy fluffed up well with a hair dryer- but the stuffing and product styling are lacking. Our soon to be 5 year old really had fun with her new little live pet. She loves the idea she can wash them and then blow dry and brush afterwards. They are super soft and fluffy as long as you blow dry after being wet. If you don’t dry well we noticed the hair clumps together. I think this helps her understand why we always need to take care of our stuff and ourselves.
My girls, ages 6 and 9, had a blast turning this scruffy dog into something soft and cuddly. They enjoyed giving it a warm bath and brushing its fur. They love watching videos of animal rescue, so this was a perfect toy for them to enjoy together. This would make a perfect gift for any child who is animal lover!
Bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The quality of the stuffed animals isn't great, not awful though. But oh my goodness my daughter LOVES this thing! She thought it was super cool to wash a stuffed animal and she's now become super attached to the "mom" and can't sleep without her. My other kids have asked for their own Scruff a luvs now, too.
The Little Live Pets have caught the heart of my little girl and it’s so cute! Of course I love them also, they make her happy so I’m happy.It was really a great experience seeing her put it into the water to see what kind of baby it was. Those are her babies and she takes them everywhere! I also like that it’s a toy that she can use her imagination with, that’s so important to me. I absolutely recommend this for all children.
Horrible ugly things! My daughter was so excited about this toy because she's obsessed with mommy & baby animals. I don't know what I was expecting but we followed the directions including blow drying the thing for near an hour! We were left with an ugly dog thing with no stuffing in the legs, arms or face so the muzzle is sunken in. It looks like it fell in the gutter. The baby which I guess is supposed to be a puppy has a crooked face, a nose above one eye and barely any paws. She was so disappointed!
Our daughter LOVES these. She was lucky enough to get a mom with twins. They have been named and go everywhere we allow her to take them. Unfortunately when she goes to school she has my hubby or myself babysit the momma and kids in her absence. While they are kind of ambiguous in that they kind of look like a dog, but could pass for a rabbit or cat too, she loves them which is important. For us it was worth the money and the process to find out what you get using water was very entertaining.
