DO NOT BUY.. Very poor design, almost unusable for toddler without frustration.I would give the truck away but I don't want another child to go threw such frustration when it's supposed to be enjoyable. Not even worth one star but I can't post unless I give one.

2.5 year old son loves this truck. He puts all his “garbage” in it and pushes it all around the house. For the price this is absolutely the best garbage\recycle truck around. It’s large good size for toddlers, has a dumpster, movable arm, and the back lifts and tilts to dump contents. Also the driver seat area is open and he can fit his Fischer price Little People in it. We’re very happy with this truck!!

It looks like it will be a ton of fun, and my son was so excited to get home and play with it. The bucket does nothing but fall off every 2 seconds. The truck can't drive 12 inches without the bucket falling off. It is incredibly frustrating for my son. He gave up on playing with it after about an hour. And it is not an age thing. It is just a terribly designed toy. Wish I could return it.

I bought this trash truck for my grandson who is 2 1/2. He absolutely loved it! He played with it all day. Just one thing. Other reviewers talked about the bucket not staying on. They were right. Before I gave the toy to him, I zip tied the bucket to the truck. then it worked perfectly. It was an easy fix for a great toy, but what were they thinking? Still love Little Tykes.
Great toy for any kid! Has tons of play value between the truck itself and the trash receptacle which moves up on down on the lever in the front. Truck itself is mad of sturdy plastic but still light enough to be carried and played with easily. It's pretty big too and a great size for filling with toy "garbage". Overall just a great truck
I bought this for my son who absolutely loves the garbage truck that comes weekly to our house. This Dirt Diggers garbage truck looks exactly like the garbage trucks that drive around! The attention to detail in the toy is amazing! My son absolutely loves this toy and plays with it everyday. I highly recommend to any son/daughter who love the trash/recycling trucks.
My son loves garbage trucks, so naturally the look of this one drew him in. But upon opening it he was immediately frustrated by the arm not smoothly going up and down. The truck itself is too light weight and this makes the arm unable to glide up and down easily. The dumpster just flies off and is not easy to put on. Also, you have to tilt the arm a specific way to make it go all the way up or down, just seems too complicated, it should be more simple. He just turned 2 and operates other trucks just fine, so I just think the design of this one missed the mark.
This toy is very difficult to play with. The trash can keeps falling off so we zip tied it to keep it on but even then it is difficult to lift. The back door is also difficult to open and constantly closes. Kids get frustrated very quickly playing with this toy. Do not buy, it is not well designed. Wish I could return it.
This truck was extremely appealing to my 2 year old - until he started playing with it. The bin on the front falls off constantly. The arms need to be aligned by a grownup to fit into the bin. Each side of the arm moves into different positions constantly. The arm lift mechanism gets caught on the front grill. You should buy this if you want a frustrated toddler and parent. No independent play with this toy. (Note that the good reviews all received this toy for free. I’m not happy to have wasted my money on this.)
My 19 month son loves hauling, dumping other toys in the truck, and dumping them out the back. I love that it's not metal, light weight and doesn't pinch his fingers or hands. He plays with it everyday and is always discovering new ways to integrate this toy with the others toys he'll out grow soon. **Would be nice if it came with a driver and frustration could be avoided if the trash receptacle stayed on while moving it about**
