My daughter received this doll house for her birthday but less than a month after getting it, the baby broke into several tiny pieces and won’t go back together. The recommended age is 3 but with the pieces coming apart I can’t trust the toy out around my one year old now which means we can barely even use it anymore. The old house (which my mom has used through 2 generations of kids) has much safer people and has held up much better than the new version. I still gave two stars because before the piece broke my kids were loving the house, especially the flushing toilet (which also already broke) and the doorbell.

Trash! Literally falls apart when my 2 yo granddaughter tries to play with it! Every. Single. Time!I am so annoyed at having to CONSTANTLY put the light posts and staircase back into position, otherwise it just resembles a pile of unusable plastic.VERY disappointed in the quality. Not what you’d expect from Little Tikes at all.

I love that they brought this dollhouse back. My kids loved it. The only con’s is the family looks strange. I felt like they didn’t go with the house. I would love to see accessories for this house just like the original did. I would also like to see the family changed. Maybe make them look a lot less creepy and more normal. Maybe even different ethnicities so the kids can choose what family they want..

I bought this for my granddaughter for Xmas and have only opened it this morning as she had far too much. Everything worked perfectly for an hour or so and my granddaughter loves it apart from the fact that two lights stopped working after an hour / hour and a half. Only help I got was put new batteries in (no point they are brand new and everything else is working) or I may have to take it back to the shop I got it from for a replacement only I think they are now sold out and I don’t know what I have done with the receipt would have been 5 stars
Ok, so... I had this house growing up. While this is almost exactly the same, the differences are upgrades! I love that my daughter can relate to all of the accessories because they're play things and that's what she knows... playing. She loves using her Daniel Tiger figurines to play in the "yard" while the family "eats dinner." I hope more accessories like beds (toys should sleep, too), couches, pets (she can't have a dog, but her toy family could!), additional figurines (so that her toy family could maybe resemble her actual family a little bit more closely?), play-stations (school, grocery store, library, post office) etc. are created - it would make this even more fun! Her neighbor friends love it, too. The age ranges are 1.5 to 9 years old... my daughter is ... MoreOk, so... I had this house growing up. Maybe I have too much time on my hands, whatever.

My kids like pretending they're taking a bath and cooking but the built in bed like before would be a plus. The cozy coupe is probably the favorite part of this. It's definitely more flimsy than the original blue house I played with as a child. And the family was better before they modernized them. Worst accessory is the swing. It falls off when they try to swing the baby. Wish there were accessories. Overall we like the house. We brought in stuff from other toys and it makes it more fun. This is definitely a “re-make†of the classic doll house of the 80’s and not a positive one. I bought this for my granddaughters, which theywere delighted with, but from the get go it would not stay together. If you pick it up by the handle to move, the whole thing comes apart! Very frustrating and not the quality that Little Tikes used to be known for. It has some cute features, like sounds and lights, but if you’re looking for a sturdy little doll house this isn’t the one. Would not recommend buying.
Received this as a gift for my kid and it was very very apparent to us that the "tree design" on the corners of the house resembles something else not child appropriate! I watch my kid play with this toy and I cant help but laugh and be horrified at the same time. It had made for endless laughs with my friends and family. It's even become a photo op thing. So if you're a laid back parent with a great and inappropriate sense of humor this is the toy to buy!
I work in a nursery, where we have the old style little tikes dolls house. Its wonderful big and open perfect for several children to play with at once. Based on that i got my daughter the new style one (the older larger one is no longer on sale otherwise i wouldve bought that).....well it has shrunk by more than half the house. Too small for more than 2 kids to play with at one time. Too small for the furniture that comes with it to fit in it! I wouldnt reccomend this house, the old style much larger one is wonderful, but having shrunk it so drastically has completely ruined it. Buy another house, this one has sadly been ruined.
