I bought this toy for my son's 1st birthday, which was 2 weeks ago, and it is adorable!! I absolutely love it. It arrived in a timely manner, packaged nicely in a cardboard box. I took the toy out of the box, snapped the eyes and ears in place, and the toy was ready to be played with in less than 5 minutes! There were not any scratches on the toy, and its very sturdy. My 12 month old enjoys rocking the puppy with his hands! He doesn't know how to get on it and rock yet, but I'm sure he will soon! This item is definitely a hit!! I highly recommend!

Super cute little rocking puppy, seems very stable, and easy to pop on ears, eyes, etc. My only complaint is that the seams are not molded together evenly and there are some pretty sharp plastic edges that could easily scratch skin. I’m disappointed in Little Tikes quality control for not catching that. I will try sanding these areas down but customers shouldn’t have to deal with that. Company needs to fix!

This doggie and the horse are extremely popular with our twin infants. Dog is lighter than horse, which is good in that little ones can get it rocking pretty well pretty early. Lighter rocker also means more movement around the room, which is both pro and con. Dog is probably more popular with now one-year-olds (and before) because of different color cloth ears and black plastic nose (both get felt a lot between rides). With many months of even harder use clearly available from these sturdy beasts, great purchases.

I purchased this for my granddaughter's first birthday. Her eyes sparkled when she first saw it and her smile turned into a big grin as she rocked on it. Just the reaction I wanted.What appealed to me in the design is that it is low to the ground. If she slips off she shouldn't get hurt.Although this toy is not advertised as "Clifford the Big Red Dog" I also gave her of copy of the storybook.
I purchased this to have at my home for my 15 month old granddaughter who has Down syndrome. Her therapist recommended a rocking horse to help her develop her core muscle strength, but we struggled to find one that was small enough for her little legs. This one is great because it sits low and has a base so her feet can reach. The seat is a little deep (from front to back) for her, and she needs some extra support, but once she gets a little more core strength it will be perfect and even give her room to grow. It's low enough that she will be able to crawl on and off without getting hurt or falling. I think it's perfect for the recommended age group! And, it's cute, like "Clifford the big red dog." That's what we call him!

We bought this product for our first Grandson 8 years ago and he loved it so much we decided to get one for our little Grandson that is turning one. This is a very durable toy that can be used inside our outside. It gives hours of fun and because it is so close to the ground, they can climb on it without help. I highly recommend this toy. Only wish it was available when my kids were little! Enjoy!!
I bought two, one for my own 1 yr old baby and the other one for her baby friend. My baby learned to climb on the dog and rock in several days. The height is perfect and safe for the little baby. The only problem is there were scratches all over the dog ( two dogs both had scratches)! I don't mind it too much for self-usage, but I felt unhappy when giving it as a gift.
