I’ve tried a few brands for my one year old and they have either been really hard to rub in or not the best ingredients for baby’s skin. I saw a article about the best suncream for kids and little urchin was mentioned so I thought id give it a try! It’s amazing! Quick and easy to rub in which makes so much difference when trying to wrestle with a toddler while applying cream! We just spent 7 days in the sun on holiday and had no sunburns or skin irritations! Will be my go to cream from now on!

Best natural & vegan sunscreen I have tried yet! I don't think its possible for any mineral sunscreen to be 100% grease free, but this is a super small amount of greasy while being easy to apply and actually rubs in quickly too. I was surprised that it even beat the Little Urchin SPF 30 since this is a higher protection level but WOW. Really happy I tried it, would love a larger bottle in the future :) - BeKindCoco

Being a red head with fair skin, I am always on the lookout for a sunscreen that actually works well. It is rare that I don't burn after an hour or 2 in the sun, with sun screen on. But the SPF 50+ with zinc is my new favourite! I applied the sunscreen before going to the beach on a very sunny day, and didn't get burnt at all, even after going for a swim! I cannot recommend this product enough, especially to those fair skinned people like me who get burnt just being in the sun for 10 minutes. It is 100% worth the investment having a sunscreen that actually works in protecting your skin!

Really wanted to get on board with the more natural sunscreens and I thought from the slightly mixed reviews that it would be worth a try. While the baby and toddler didn't complain, the application was not great, too white on the skin and difficult to rub in. Good product in terms of the ingredients but wouldn't recommend IF you are looking for sunscreen that is easy to apply and doesn't leave a gritty white sheen on you.
I was looking for a light but effective mineral sunscreen so I got the internet and Little Urchin ticked all the boxes. Little Urchin has lived up to the positive reviews and exceeded my expectations. It is indeed light, non-greasy and works beautifully under make-up. It is invisible and does not pill. Plus I really loved the vibe of their website. All natural, environmentally friendly, sustainable, all Australian and a family business. It deserves a 5 star rating!
I’m finding the Little Urchin natural clear zinc Sunscreen an excellent product, easy to apply and the clear zinc stick is very handy for quick touch ups on the go, and also a handy size for travelling. I don’t need to wear normal makeup now, as all I need is the Little Urchin tinted sunscreen which is brilliant, the comments from friends are really positive.
I got two different sunscreens and I don’t like either of them. They’re so oily and don’t dry down at all. I tried using it on my face and body but just couldn’t get past how oily it was. I like a sunscreen that drys down more or is less oily. It’s a shame because I want to support an this Australian company.
Normally with a sunscreen that doesn’t have any nasties, you have to compromise on something. A lot of the time, it’s the spreadability. Not with the Little Urchin - it glides onto my little ones skin with ease! I have already recommended this brand to all the mums in my mothers group!
I have tried so many invisible zinc sunscreens over the years and have spent big money trying to find one that is actually invisible until I found little urchin brand from my local Woolworths store and it is by far the best product out there. It easily rubs in and isn’t thick, but most of all it’s completely invisible. I am 50 and have very fare skin and now I’ve found this product I won’t be using any other brand. I love it 😁😁😁
We already use the SPF 30 so wanted to try the zinc as it was SPF 50. It’s just as great! The stick version seems to be easier for my kids to apply for their face with out squirting too much out and we use the tube for the body (I have used it for my face and it has a nice semi-dewy texture). It’s the tiniest bit shinier than the SPF 30 (which is definitely a matte finish which is why my son loves it). We have been using little urchin sunscreen for the past 4+ years so we love it.
