The Littmann Classic III Stethoscope offers a mirror-finish chestpiece, navy tubing, and smoke-finish headset. Its two-sided chestpiece features tunable diaphragms on both adult and pediatric sides, and is easily attachable and easier to clean for superior hygiene. Additionally, the pediatric side can be converted to a traditional open bell by using a non-chill rim. Improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol, coupled with a decreased propensity for stains, provides longer-lasting tubing. The small, tunable diaphragm is ideal for pediatric, small or thin patients, or areas with bandages and for carotid assessment.
