I spent a lot of time looking for the right light kit for this set. The quality of the parts is top notch. All of the LEDs are bright and vibrant, especially the flame effect LEDs. The hub pieces fit snuggly into the Lego pieces and the wires are flat and easy to integrate into the set for a very clean look. The instructions were a bit off at times but the customer support was phenomenal and quick to respond and make adjustments. Definitely buying a LMB 2.0 kit for my Barad Dur set!

I have used inferior light kits of a site that shant be named before on other builds. This light kit was by far the easiest to follow, put together and wire I have ever used. The wires themselves in this 2.0 style are so thin just like they claim. All my bricks locked back into place with no visible gap. I will be buying these as they make them for all my lego builds.
I had actually purchased the LMB 1.0 version of the Light Kit, but dreaded actually going through it, as there was significant part removal involved.When I saw the LMB 2.0 version, and going through the instructions, saw how easier the installation had become, I knew I had to get it.The end result is amazing, and it only took me around 3 hours to install, so quite easy.The new flex cables leave minimal visible footprint in the actual Lego kit.All in all, great result, extremely easy to install, and does not ruin the aesthetics of the construct.Currently waiting for the LMB 2.0 version of a light kit for Lego Barad-Dur!!
I bought the Rivendell LMB1.0 for a friend and helped him install it. It really look nice but seeing the build of it i knew i would not be able to do that myself.My left hand does not work properly due to a disability so i need to do most stuff one handed. But with the LMB2.0 that was not a problem at all. The cables and connection are so much stronger and easier to use, making it much more fun to build with it.Great job from LMB and i can not wait to see more sets coming available on 2.0. Next purchase will be the museum set for me!
Wow!! Lighting as you build is the ONLY way to go in my opinion. Such a great experience and the end result is stunning - Bravo 2.0!
