The difference these light kits make to your lego builds is amazing. This is the second light kit we have purchased and have been extremely happy with both. The product itself is very well packaged with the fitting instructions available online. I can't comment personally on how it is used as my husband is the lego builder. But I didn't hear any swearing or pulling out of hair during the process. So have to assume all is good.

This light kit is worth every dollar, it easily looks the best out of all the light kits I've seen online and the wiring process wasn't too bad. Bit complicated but got the hang of it and understood it very well by the end. The lights itself are gorgeous and I can't stop staring at this lego set even more, i got the remote control version and it is a dream come true to be able to control the lights this easy. Would 100% recommend getting this light kit from Brickbling

This is my 4th light install. 1st time ordering from here. Install was pretty easy, just pay attention to each photo. My biggest complaint is that the wires are not very well hidden and highly visible from the back. I also wish there was actual lights in the lava instead of flood lights above. Kinda wish i would have went with a differwnt company who had done that. Overall I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Model is great! I love the lights. One string set of lights came damaged, but customer support said they’d be happy to send me a replacement bag! Only reason why it’s 4, instead of 5 stars! I would happily buy again from here, however!
This is my first time adding a light kit to a Lego set and I'm blown away at how these kits are meticulously put together. Every tiny wire is the perfect length and size to nearly disappear into the Lego build. Although it's not easy work for a 50 year old with non-perfect eye sight, the instructions do take you through each step very clearly. There's a slight learning curve getting the LED's to hide within the Lego bricks but it got easier the more I did it.
The kit looks nice, and I much prefer that this light kit uses fewer lights than many others (it's the dark tower, not the bright gleaming tower, for the love of all that is good!). For what it does have, I think it did well.However, there is an issue. Firstly, the walls on the second level have a hairline gap between them due to how they were built and so when the "indoor" lights are on, they beam through those cracks. That is, at least, fixable because you can turn those lights off separately if you have the remote control version. Not sure how this will work for those without the remote control version, though...As for my biggest complaint, I just wish there was lighting on the lava sections of the base. I found this kit relatively easy to install (fewer fiddly bits than the home alone set) aesthetically pleasing, planatir looks fantastic as does the eye of Sauron, if i have any gripes it is that i would have liked an external lights only setting on the remote, and the red downlight over the front entrance obscures the detail slightly, i would’ve preferred two lights either side to one across the entrance. Would recommend!
I bought this kit for my son who loves Legos. This was his first light kit he ever installed and it took him several hours to install. He has big hands and needed to use tweezers to help him, but his patience paid off for him. It looks amazing and brings out details I never noticed before. I was impressed and if you have this set I believe a light kit is a must investment. He said the instructions were easy to follow, but just took time to implement. The remote is also a nice feature that I recommend.
Used like 4 days or something to set it up. Very hard to set up. Once I finally had set it up it only works sometimes. And I can max have it on for about a minute or so before the lights fade out and eventually turn off. Have switched batteries 2 times. Still the same. Would not recommend!
God I can’t say it enough - being able to light as you build is SO ENJOYABLE!! This set blew me away with how awesome it is… and to add the 2.0 kits brings it to a whole new level. I thought $199 was steep but once I saw just how many lights there are and the overall aesthetic- worth it!!
