Lock Jaw Ladder Grip - Ladder Safety Device

I got the Lock Jaw Ladder Grip for my husband so that the ladder wouldn’t move when he has to get on the roof. He loved it – said it was the best gift ever. He’s 6’4”, about 250 lbs, and when he tried to shake and jiggle the ladder just to test it, the ladder stayed completely stable. This durable plastic stabilizer locks on to the ladder then hooks right over the gutter; so it’s easy to install. It even comes with a carabiner so you can hook it to your tool belt while you climb up or down the ladder. Because of the way it hooks over the gutter, it won’t work if there’s a gutter guard in the way. Also, if you’re gutters are loose or not secured well, it won’t keep you as stable. But on a normal roof gutter, this is a great tool to help keep you safe on your ladder.

This is the safety tool I didn’t know I needed. I’m not a fan of heights so when I saw this I immediately thought this would be good for me. It is easy to attach to the ladder and gutter. Once you have it adjusted for your ladder it is super simple to click on and off. I especially use this if I have yo get up on the roof and back down. The ladder doesn’t move and it gives me peace of mind.

It latches on to the gutter and it's an added safety device that prevents ladder from tipping and/or falling over. It has soft rubber pads on the claw part that prevent damage to your gutter. It is versatile because it can be used on either side of the ladder. For added safety and stability you can purchase a second one. Especially if you are carrying heavy tools or equipment up to the roof.
