This thread sealant works much better than teflon tape.
This is a great product to endure you have no leaking fittings. I sealed the brass fittings for my manual fuel valve when replacing the old one in my 1971 Ford F250.. This is very important so that you have no fuel leaks. It's been in now for about a week and all is good and functional.
