Surface of this skillet was badly convex and made for terrible heat distribution and a generally poor cooking experience right from the first usage. I've got a Lodge wok and it is fantastic, but I'm not sure about this thinner Blacklock range at all. Returned for a refund.Response from customer service was unsatisfactory, didn't address the problem that I raised via the reseller at all.

A lighter weight Lodge option purchased for short hikes. It’ll be useful at home as well. Well seasoned. I am very pleased with this produce. Supplier delivered the item promptly, well packaged.

This Blacklock Lodge is amazing. A bit on the higher price end but happy that I chose it since this is my first venture into cast iron cooking and it's been a breeze. I've been cooking all sorts of meals in this and for the non-stick purpose, works like a charm. I'm seeing myself using this for many years to come, and not having to add non-stick pans onto landfill. Happy customer. Will buy other sizes.

Neat little pan for fried eggs. Being smaller the handle is closer to heat so gets hotter faster than the 26cm pan. Easy to clean and flavours are enhanced by the seasoned surface.
The cast iron pan is far too heavy for me to use. I am going to give it away to a family member who is much younger. They will love it. I should have bought a smaller one for me.

I bought this to replace an old, cheaper iron pan that I had from years ago. The quality of this pan is unreal. You’re getting so much value. I also love how light it is, compared to my old one. My dinner’s are just instantly upgraded now!
Light weight is noticable. Rounded sides make it feel like a modern pan. Thing works great.
Was searching for a lightweight smooth iron skillet. So happy i ordered this Lodge Blacklock. I washed it, dried, put on the stove to get hot, added a little oil, after hot i fried bacon, then eggs. Fried bacon perfectly, and eggs! No sticking. Very impressed. I'm buying more, for sure. Oh, got the lid for it too. The one with the round knob instead of the handle knob. Was more money, but no regrets.
Great pan. Nice heat distribution, much lighter than a thick-walled cast-iron pan, and the longer handle is nice. Still fits the Lodge silicone handle holder. Sears a nice steak. It says it's triple seasoned, but I found I still had to season it a couple times before it got truly nonstick.
